Nah my fiancé didn’t see the point  back when we started this and he gets a LOT of mail, you’ve given me hope though that ours may be a silent NOA2 too though.

Problem is he starts a 24 hour shift at the ER 7am his time Tuesday 2 hours ahead of California  so won’t hear anything tomorrow either if it is and arrives in the post then.

Hi April filers!

I was on this forum for a long time and was always excited to track and see other people cases approvals.

Today our case was approved!

NOA-1 old site April 30, new site May 3

NOA-2 case tracker app 10/22/2018

Case was processing through California center.

I wish everybody a lot of good luck!🍀

Welcome and congratulations. You may have missed this while you were lurking so I'll repeat again as it looks as though you haven't completed this.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Can you please give us the site of USPS. Thanks

There is a service provided by the USPS (US Postal Service) whereby each morning USPS will scan your incoming mail (just the address side of the envelope) and email you an update. It's very convenient these days to have advance notice that an important piece of mail is being delivered.

The service is available to most communities but some are still being rolling out so not all areas are available. Check the website with your zip code to verify your location is available for the service. A person in the USA can sign up for this free service here: https://informeddelivery.usps.com/box/pages/intro/start.action

I have, and here's my experience:

Saw my noa2 on the new website saying we were approved on October 9th.

On the 12th (Friday), my fiancé got a notification that USPS had delivered the letter (on the digitalized photo of the letter, the notice date says the 8th).

My fiancé was traveling at the time, so he only got back home on Tuesday night (16th) - and the letter wasn't there!!!!

After doing some research on the web, I found out that it's a common complaint that people receive the delivery notification but the letter will only show up about 4-7 days later.

So, it's been 2 weekes and our letter is either lost forever or they've delivered it to the neighbor - my fiancé will go back home tonight (traveling again) and ask them.

Ughhhh

I got the same letter while I was in Thailand, when I opened it, it was an approval letter.

Hello! First time writing on the forum but been following this thread (kind of obsessively lol) for a while, it's great to see how supportive everyone is around here.

Today we got the RFE, has anyone else on the recieved this and what type of extra evidence does USCIS ask for?

I was sure my package was more than complete, had tons of evidence (me and my fiance have been together since highschool and lived in the same country throughout the entire relationship until I moved back to the US last year) I would really appreciate some insight from the senior member of the thread 😃.

If it's for any interest:

NOA1 04/19/2018

RFE: 10/22/2018

You said above that you have been following this thread so naturally I'm thinking ok they know what to do and not do because we have had this discussion over time.

Because I am answering doesn't mean I am the senior. (looks quickly at his own picture to see if it has aged any) :D

There are many varying degrees of RFE's. Some as simple as not "ticking" off a question. Others forgot the fiancé(e) letter and then others who met on a website and now need to prove that it wasn't a marriage arrangement website.

Once you get your RFE, read over very carefully as you only have one chance to reply accurately without causing undue harm. Once you know what it is set out to correct and to include "everything" they are asking for. Then reread the RFE to ensure you are compliant. Make copies of everything for your record and send back using their instructions which are contained within the RFE. If the RFE requires a signature, PLEASE don't forget this. Once received at USCIS your case will begin adjudication where the agent had left off. No one can tell you how long it will take so be patient.

Once you get your RFE and you have specific questions please return so we can help you.
