I-864 - Does the 1040 need to be signed?

I am building my financial documents package and I am unsure what to send NVC for the current year's tax returns. I filed married filing jointly and we sent my wife's ITIN application (W7) with our taxes. As I understand, it will take 10 to 12 weeks before I can get my refund and print IRS tax transcript for the current tax year. I printed IRS tax transcripts for the last three years (2016, 2015, and 2014) already.

 

So my question is what do I send with my I-864 package:

2017:

1. Tax returns copy (does it need to be signed?). My personal copy is not signed and it says "Do Not File - Client Copy" on it in large letters. It has my details, my wife's details and preparer's details on it, but has no signatures. The actual signed copy was mailed to IRS last week and unfortuantely I didn't make a copy of it. 
2. Copy of W2
3. Copy of W7 (signed)

2016 - 2015:

• IRS Transcripts

 

Do you guys think that unsigned client copy of 1040 would be an issue?  Thanks in advance.

My tax transcripts for this year became available on IRS site, so that's what I send to NVC. Although most people say that W2 is not needed with tax transcripts, NVC still asked me for a W2. Hope this will help someone in the future.
