Yeah but according to Disney it's their policy that they won't allow pregnant women on board past a certain week/month due to if there were complications they would have to turn back and go back to port. So I firmly agree with their decision to ban the baby factory from boarding.

Makes sense, anything happens and could be a long time to get to a port, and not sure they should have a policy that varies with cruise length.

 

She obviously knew and was trying to wing it, why have a Doctors letter otherwise and apparently it is clearly stated when booking.

Seriously if I had been on that cruise I would greatful she didn't get on. I don't want to miss my hard earned vacation all because someone who is pregnant can't think ahead to what may happen.

I think most people here would agree with Disney's decision, it is clearly posted on their website but if I were here I wouldn't risk going on a Caribbean cruise in the first place during pregnancy since the Zika threat is still active.    Looks like her complaint is not about being denied boarding, it's about the way they were treated after that.  I sympathize with that, especially having young kids along, but I think anybody booking a cruise or flight nowadays is pretty much subjecting themselves to the risk of being treated like absolute #######. I don't fly unless I have to, and if you catch me on a cruise ship, I'm either drunk, drugged, or brainwashed 'cause I wouldn't be on one of those nightmares boats of my own free will.
