I mailed my package to Vermont center as I am in NJ.

Dispatched it as Priority mail with USPS on April 5th and the USCIS received it on April 7th. The check was cashed on April 9th and received my one year extension I-797 on April 14th which was dated April 10th.

Where did you send it?

Mine went to California. I think overall they take longer for everything.  If yours went to Vermont, can you update the google doc? you put your information on the first tab which is for California. The second tab is VSC.

Here's hoping April moves faster than the 17 months it's taking now!

See above post for the link. I wonder if there is a way to mark that post for easy reference in the future. Otherwise we have to remember that it's on page 8.

I got it corrected, also formatted  the sheet a little

My attorney mailed out I-751 package (joint-filing) yesterday to CSC, expecting to receive NOA by end of month.  My GC expires in July 2018, luckily I replaced my SSN (obtained via visa) and Driver license is valid till 2022.

-------------------

I have upcoming trip to Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany & India in October / November 2018,  although I-551 stamp not required on valid extension letter - I still plan to visit local USCIS office for I-551 stamp as multiple countries interpret rules differently.
1. Will USCIS decline to stamp passport since extension letter is still valid?

2. How long Stamp is valid?

-------------------

Job-related - I'm currently employed and don't have any plans to change employer for next 1-2 years.

I submitted conditional GC for Form I-9 and as per USCIS rule - there is no need for re-verification if GC (including conditional) is submitted as proof. I'm still worried that HR department ask for verification since GC is expiring in July 2018. Is there any way to tackle this which prove USCIS rules.

Question:

you said "My GC expires in July 2018, luckily I replaced my SSN (obtained via visa) and Driver license is valid till 2022."

What was the procedure to get the SSN changed and even the drivers license?

Here is what I meant :
1. SSN received on visa falls under category  2 / 3 with note "VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION"on SSN card. You need to visit Social security office for replacement, it'll update your records and SSA office will mail you new SSN card which won't contain note ""VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION."

https://www.ssa.gov/ssnumber/cards.htm

2. Driver License validity depends on State issued by, in my case Texas state treats Conditional PR as regular PR and issue License validity as USC / regular PR.

As per USCIS rules, there is no need to re-verify such employees who submitted conidition PR card as proof

You can easily re-verify if needed using your expired Greencard, extension letter and current state I.D. or Driver's license. The Greencard+Extension letter act as a type C document and the driver's license is a type B document.

You can site  chapter 7.1 from the USCIS Hanbook for Employers (M-274). https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/handbook-employers-m-274

Employees must be allowed to choose which document(s) they will present from the Lists of Acceptable Documents. You cannot specify which document(s) an employee must present. Employees who attest to being an LPR in Section 1 may choose to present a List A document (such as a Permanent Resident Card, Form I-551) or a List B and List C document combination

The combination of an expired Permanent Resident Card and a Form I-797, Notice of Action, that indicates that the card is valid for an additional year, is an acceptable List C evidence of employment authorization for one year as indicated on Form I-797. At the end of the one-year period, you must reverify.

You could possibly also send some flight/train reservation for any trips you took together..honeymoon trip...or even hotel reservations.
