You file to Vermont, it may be sent to a field office in due course but that's not a choice you make.

first time posting here, here is my timeline:

 

I-751 application sent to VSC on 4/3/18

VSC received application on 4/6/18

Check cashed on 4/10/18

NOA notice date 4/6/18

NOA received around 4/15/18 (can't remember exactly)

Biometrics notice dated 5/11/18

Biometrics appointment on 5/31/18

 

Quick question. Does anyone else's case NOT show up for tracking on the USCIS website? When I enter my EAC case number, it says "At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case..." I read all over that there are 2 different case numbers, one on the NOA and one on the biometrics notice. However, in my case, both notices (NOA and Biometrics) have the exact same case number which does not work on the USCIS case tracking website. Any info would be appreciated. I assume they just might be behind in entering the cases online since they are behind in everything else? Thanks!!

I haven't received the biometrics notice yet, but the NOA case number also didn't appear on the USCIS tracking website. At this point, I'm just glad I got the extension letter

Saw on the spreadsheet some folks already had their checks cashed and everything.

As you can see from previous posts, early April filers are still waiting for movement, you've got a bit longer to wait!

I just checked my bank account online and it's finally showing pending for the check being cashed!

 

Mailed April 6th

CSC received April 9th.

Check cashed May 24th!

 

I'm thinking we will get the NOA on Saturday or early next week. I've never been more happy to see money being taken out of my account.

Quick question.... they gave me case status number starting from EAC. When should I expect my NOA? Has anyone spoke to tier 2 officer . They gave u case status number and then few days u received letter? If yes , then after how many days?

I may need to change my job as current job ending soon, current status is applied I-751 and 2 yrs GC expired..NO check cashed out and  no NOA1 

 

So If i got  new job, before i get NOA1,  go and get Info-pass appointment and get stamped, can i show that as work permit?

I think once i get NOA1, i can show that as work permit  for another one year, is that correct ?

when did CSC receive your packet? I think getting an info-pass appointment for a stamp will be challenging if you don't have an NOA or receipt number. you may luck out and get a really nice agent that will go ahead and stamp it for you but most have been having difficulty getting a stamp without a receipt number.

Yes, the NOA can be shown for your new hire paperwork. just show your expired green card with the NOA so HR knows they match up and you do have the extension and the ROC is pending.
