As weird as it sounds, i'm glad to find out that other people are in the same boat as me. Application received by CSC(according to the return reciept from certified mail stamped in black ink with CSC and the date) Apr 12 2018. Called them this morning and got elevated to T2 officer, says there's no record of my application in the system.

Going off of the fact that some people who applied on the 3rd are just now getting their cheques cashed i feel a lot less like the world is ending. Will keep you guys posted.

Don't worry, for many of us they said the same like - not in the system or call back later or give us more time. What i would do is if you have confirmation like when they received then CALL them back like later today or tomorrow check again, seems like Each T2 officer caring differently in some scenarios so better call them back  and check again

Thanks for the reassurance. The agent I talked to seemed pretty blasé about it and said I should just stop payment on the cheque and resubmit. Glad I found this forum or I might have followed that advice today.

Seeing as how someone who filed on the 6th just got their cheque cashed i feel better about waiting another few days/a week in the hopes that mine gets chashed. If nothing happens by friday i'll probably call back and of course, i'll keep checking peoples progress here to gauge when mine might get cashed <,<.

How ludicrous. Don't they monitor the calls to those agents? How can they keep their jobs misleading their customers like that?
