No. I’m at work . So not possible.

You really have to call them, otherwise you don’t know if they neglected your case or anything. Mine was received on 4/17 at VSC, and I called on 5/9 they said if I don’t receive anything by 5/17 I need to call again and ask someone to follow up. In the end I received my NOA on 5/12. Your work is important but without the GC you won’t even be able to work so make time for it.

If you had called them just once you would see why it is a moot point, if you had called them 3 times you'd have to pick and choose which answer out of the 3 different given by them you prefer.

Exactly, there's no point in calling them at this stage, they're not going to tell you anything different than what has previously been said on this forum.

Well the person who was asking was filing for VSC, not CSC, most people filed in early April received the NOA, that’s why I suggested him to call

I just told him my personal experience with VSC, I do think it’s better to call since he filed early April, and most people filed in early April at VSC received the NOA

So you were calling them (and had your NOA sent to you) before 30 days were even up?  Sounds like you've been pretty lucky compared to everyone else on this forum....

Yes, because I read somewhere the NOA should come in 2-3 weeks, and I also noticed the March filers got theirs in 2 weeks. I called and the person over the phone was nice, he told me CSC was very backed up, but for VSC I should be able to get it in 30 days. It seems that most April filers at VSC have similar timelines, so I’m worried for him.

Folks - I have an update. Nothing Net New. I spoke to a Tier 2 as it was my 31st Day. This is what he told me

  • They had a meeting with CSC because of a lot of calls especially on 751 cases.
  • CSC informed them that they have put a new IT system a place and they are testing it out and will start entering the applications in.
  • Should take 6-8 weeks for getting a receipt from the date of filing.
  • If you filed in time - You are not out of status
  • Lastly - in the same meeting - they discussed about the possibility of getting a stamp using InfoPass and his advice was that the Local Centers will NOT give you a stamp w/o anything in the system.

Anyway, good guy...but USCIS says a lot of contradictory stuff. I was asked to call back in 2 weeks.

I agree with you, for people who filed to VSC is not normal to wait more than 30 days. the last person who got his/her NOA  filed in April 23. If someone who filed more than 10 days prior the last one has not gotten his/hers yet, they definitely need to call right away.

A different case is for the people who filed to CSC, which I REALLY hope you guys start seeing your checks being cashed soon, where people from the beginning of April are still waiting. (prying for you guys!)

Can anyone give me contact number of VSC
