It's now over one month that I've sent out the 751 to the Cali office, check still hasn't been cashed. Ooomph.

I am not soclose to the east coast. I have to fly from El Paso, TX to Atlanta and have 2 connecting fligths. I checked everything to get cheaper flights - not possible.

No clue. I have no issues with them taking longer than 60 days, as long as they issue some notice and make it easy for us to get stamps. The fact that whole process is a black box, bothers me.

My packet was received on April 13th and it has been over a month and no sign of check being cashed or Extension letter! 

 

I called USCIS on May 11th spoke with an officer (second level of USCIS Customer Service) and she told they are experience a backlogging so I should give them 60 days.

I believe this is happening because of the H-1B season.

Some of us have been waiting longer than that....just be patient.
