Any of you filing at CSC still waiting for your biometrics letter? I got my NOA1 over a month ago, still no biometrics. :/

Most of us are at the stage where our checks have not even been cashed -- when filing over a month ago.

Yeah, same here. Still "interesting" how everything seems to go wrong these days 😉

Day 32 now and waiting for CSC to get in gear. I was gonna call but then read on here about the 60 days. Glad I did file at the very beginning of the 90 day window so except for me not liking to wait until they finally cash that check I should be okay... Hopefully!

What I find kinda funny is that we got our application back within a week when we sent it the first time because we didn't include a copy of the marriage certificate (ugh!) so it seems like someone is at the least checking the applications once they come in and then throw them on a pile or something...

A similar thing happened to me, I sent using the old form and got my package back within a week with a notice to complete the updated form and resubmit.

We had a similar experience.

When filing our petition we realized that they had actually put the wrong date on my green card (they had put our entry and hence expiry date over a month after I arrived in the country), we made an infopass appointment and the guy said to file our petition to remove conditions with a letter explaining that we were actually within the 90 day timeframe of the date stamped in our passport.  Of course, despite including a letter explaining things we got our whole package returned to us saying we had to wait to file 90 days before my green card is due to expire.  The most frustrating thing is if they had actually printed the correct date on my green card I probably wouldn't have been caught up in this delay.  It didn't take them long to reject it first time around so they were clearly opening them pretty quickly back in March!

This waiting game is just so demoralizing, I know that others have it a lot tougher but it just seems like needless stress.  I'm so glad I found this forum, it definitely helps knowing I'm not the only one going through this!

I have to go to the DMV at the weekend to renew my license, that'll be interesting with the NOA for a year, then fly back to the UK at the end of June for vacation

Is this 60 day ETA official now? I guess I am still shocked and in denial. Is there any official confirmation from them that it's 60 days now?

I guess nothing is official till USCIS puts it on their website. Till then is hearsay. I would assume 60 days - Its definitely not 30 anymore.

Interesting. I didn't realize we needed to send a copy of the marriage certificate since it wasn't put in on the VJ guides. "there is no need to repeat evidence that you already submitted to them earlier"

 Did you have another marriage after the one you came in on?

I know on the application it asks if you are still in the same marriage from the first green card application, which they should have on file.

Not gonna lie, I'm going to be pretty mad if it gets sent back for the marriage cert that they have a copy of, since we paid 80$ to overnight it.

I'll let everyone know if we get ours sent back. We will def need to have it added to the VJ guide.

There's nothing in the I-751 instructions either about a marriage certificate.

"Evidence of the Relationship
Submit copies of documents indicating that the marriage upon which you were granted conditional status was entered in “good faith” and was not for the purpose of circumventing immigration laws. Submit copies of as many documents as you can to establish this fact, to demonstrate the circumstances of the relationship from the date of the marriage to the present date, and to demonstrate any circumstances surrounding the end of the relationship, if it has ended.

The documents should include, but are not limited to, the following examples:

1. Birth certificates of children born during the time of this marriage, if any;

2. Lease or mortgage contracts showing joint occupancy and/or ownership of your communal residence;

3. Financial records showing joint ownership of assets and joint responsibility for liabilities, such as joint savings and checking accounts with transaction history, complete joint Federal and State tax returns, insurance policies that show the other spouse as the beneficiary, joint utility bills, or joint installment or other loans. If applicable, submit copies of military Leave and Earnings Statements showing receipt of Basic Allowance for Quarters (BAQ) with family members and/or Form DD-1172 for military family member identification cards;

4. Other documents that you consider relevant to establish that your marriage was not entered for the purpose of evading U.S. immigration laws; and Form I-751 Instructions 12/05/17 N Page 6 of 10 5. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by at least two people who have known both of you since your conditional residence was granted and have personal knowledge of your marriage and relationship. (Such persons may be required to testify before an immigration officer as to the information contained in the affidavit.) The original affidavit must be submitted and also contain the following information regarding the person making the affidavit: his or her full name and address; date and place of birth; relationship to you or your spouse, if any; and full information and complete details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge. Affidavits must be supported by other types of evidence listed above."
