Ssssssooooo...

My Conditional Green Card expired yesterday.

I'm at work today and boss hasn't asked anything.

I will definitely not mention it.  (I did remove the "valid for work only with DHS authorization" print on the SSC a while ago because  the bank wouldn't let me apply for a credit card otherwise. So I'm good on that, at least.)

Last Wednesday the Tier 2 officer told me I would receive an email from CSC since it's been more than 30 days and he prompted them to expedite the process.

I haven't received anything so far. Of course.

 How lovely. <_<

Good to hear.

And *sighs*..the amount of differing info from those agents is bewildering. Can't believe he told you that, when I was told that CSC never emails and that if we want to get a hold of them, we need to email the lockbox...

oh #######. This, along with the H1B applicants. I'd be surprised if they can even keep the waiting time to a 60-day limit...

***laughs nervously****

Although... the lockbox is only for those who applied at Chicago, Dallas, or Phoenix. :dead:

Oh dear Zeus. And I told him just that. To which he said "I'm afraid that's incorrect, I work here". I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Right! It's pretty disruptive to people's life honestly. We've already booked our flight for end August. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I'll get the NOA by June, and from then I'm going to attempt to get a biometrics walk-in done. And I'll keep bloody trying too if I fail...

Argh, well that explains EVERYTHING! They need to fix the mess before continuing. Getting those cards sorted out is priority before us. Who knows how long we'll wait now.

Hi all,

Glad (although slightly sad) to see I'm not the only one in this boat.

Application was received at CSC on 4/12,  I haven't heard anything since.  I rang today, no record of it in the system and was told to wait another 30 days.

As someone has previously said, they're now advising a 60 day wait time.  Now I just have to try and stop checking my bank account every day!

That sucks. And the airlines are not giving you your money back either. This is why I have not booked yet. I can not afford to lose 3000 Dollar. Airlines really need to rethink about their concept. You can cancel every shitty hotel - but a super expensive flight?! nope! Crossing my fingers that everything gojng to be okay for you JackieWackie... for all of us.

I am already at 40 days. And I doubt that I will hear anything from them when those 60 days are over. They really should allow people to get that dang stamp!

I think there are some fees you can pay for cancellation and if you do not travel you get your money back, I bought tickets through Expedia once and paid that fee, we couldn't travel for some reason so we canceled the trip, we got our money back.  you should check that.

I'm in the same boat.  Filed April 20th at California center, but no progress yet!

Is there any document/link in this forum that shows  processing time of applicants for April filers?

i saw in the previous posts that Google doc has been terminated for some security reasons.

I sent my application to CSC on the 21st April, and was received on the 23rd of April. Same with everyone, no NOA1 and check has not been cashed out.  I have a question, since i saw in the forum that we might wait 60 days. I am starting my college course the second week of June, and my GC expires on 24th of June. Since my application was received on the 23rd of April, the 60 th day will mark on the 23rd day of June, and the following day is the expiration date of my GC. I applied to fafsa, will the expiring of my GC affect me receiving my student loan? If only i knew they were this back log i should have applied on the 1st day of my 90 days window. :(
