Hi guys,

I filed on 4/16 to Vermont, and they received on 4/17. Check got cashed on 5/11 and I received the NOA1 today on 5/12, the notice was dated 5/9.

I wonder how long does it take for them to mail me the biometric appointment because I am planning on traveling abroad in either September or October.

If you read thru Feb and Mar 2018 for Vermont, you'll see the trend there. Some Feb filers have their biometrics for May. Some of March filers received letter saying that uscis will re-use their previous biometrics, while some got letter for

biometrics.

However, if you miss your appointment date, you still can walk in within 90 days after appointment date.

Thank you so much! I was reading a thread about people filing in July, 2017 and some of them still haven't received the biometrics letter now, it scared me.

Also when is the expiration of the extension? A year from the date I received the NOA1 or a year from the date my current GC expires??

Based on my observations, most of the biometric waivers are from CSC. If you're from Vermont, you probably receive sth in the mail soon since they VSC starts to process I751 while CSC is still in silent. Poor us CSC filers :(

Hello everyone!

We just got our check cashed yesterday 5/11!  Still waiting for the NOA.

Our package was received 4/17 at the VSC.

We were getting really worried because our GC had already expired.

We'll update the new spreadsheet once we figure out how to do it. Hopefully all of you start seeing your check being cashed soon too! We've never been so happy to see our money fly away from our bank account!

Haha same here, we have never been so happy to see money get debited from our bank account!

Seems like we have similar timelines, our package was also received on 4/17 and our check got cashed yesterday but I received the NOA today, so I am sure yours would come either today or on Monday!
