So what options do we have? Just wait.... ?

It seems pretty much anyone who filed in the second half of April is waiting?  I'll speak to my attorney today about options. Anyone of you thinking of refiling?

Thanks, actually USPS had 2 conflicting dates in the tracking info at that point but now it says it was delivered on the 9th. Sorry for the confusion. Definitely no NOA and no cash checked up until now *sigh*

PS:Sorry about may posts looking odd, I am on my phone and it is driving me nuts!

Do not refile. Just wait it out, its clear that there is a backup at the service centers so nothing to worry about.

The receipt date is the date when the NOA was issued. What i saw in April 2017 filers was that the package was delivered lets say on April 8th, folks got the checks cashed and NOA delivered  in May but the Notice was dated April 9th..

i hope this hypothetical example helps in clarification.

Thank you. That's helpful.

I guess I am one of the super unlucky ones. I filed I-751 on 04/10 and my GC expired on 04/26. A week before my GC expired, I got a new job so I quit my old one. Plan was to start the new gig after a taking a week or two off (hoping that the NOA would arrive by then). NOPE! My future employer is now waiting for me to start. Not sure when their patience will run out!

FML!

Do you know if people that filed around the Apr 10 timeframe (in 2017) had to wait till till end of May for the NOA? I guess pas performance is not a guarantee of future performance, but I could use any data point I can get to alleviate my employer's concerns.

You may want to remove the google docs link its against the TOS on the site  ;)

Thanks, Gizzmondo! I corrected that and put a link to the appropriate page instead and people can look for themselves.

My 30 days are up but I guess I will just wait 2 more weeks before calling. My GC expires at the end of June so I still have time.

I really don't want to re-file because I think that might just confuse USCIS... 😉

Have you removed the "Working Under DHS" in your SSN?

I looked at the April 2017 spreadsheet and the few people who applied around April 10th got their NOAs in 14-18 days, so this year seems to be an aberration... just my two cents.

I have not. TBH, I didn't know that was a thing. Would that have helped?  :(

Same here. Does everybody have that "Working under DHS" "on their SSN card? I don't think I do but I will check once I get home to be sure.

Mine is still marked

Never saw it as an issue - I take enough time away from work to complete the immigration process, I couldn't justify another day to go to my local office to get it replaced
