It sounds to me like they have't even open most of the packages form April, that's why they are not in the system.

Agree'd.

And if they did move some cases from VSC, They're going to touch those first before they touch the ones being sent straight to them based off the website saying that the transfer shouldn't affect the time it takes to process the application other than the mail time from VSC to CSC.

NOW !!

Tell them its been over a month and nothing yet, thats what I did

I tried calling yesterday after work and was told that noTier 2 officer was available at that time. Besides, it seems that when they "cannot locate" our packages, all they tend to suggest is that we 1/ resend, or 2/ email the lockbox. But when you look at the USCIS website, it is clearly stated that the lockbox email address is only helping for applications sent to Chicago, Dallas and Phoenix. So it sounds like a scripted answer to get people off the phone.

I'm curious if this means that the case hasn't been processed yet. So normally when we mail it in, they sign for it, and then it sits somewhere until they cash the check and send out the NOA. I'm wondering if the being unable to locate the package is the period between it being signed by them and it being actually seen by someone. NOTHING seems to go into the system until they cash the check.

That sounds legit as they are only looking in the system for them. Nobody walks around and is looking for a physical package.

I just spoke with Tier 2 officer. He said to send an email to the lock box and resubmit the package if I won't hear anything back. Pretty standard reply. They don't have information or don't want to provide any more information over the phone.

I couldn't be transferred to a Tier 2 yesterday as I work until late afternoon, but if they mention the Lockbox again as a "solution" this is what should be stated: the lockbox does not deal with apps sent to Vermont and California, evidence is here: : https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/contact-us

Hey guys, I have been following this thread. I am excited to say that my check was just cashed. I am not able to update the document just yet but I will once I get to a computer. We are hoping for no RFE but also excited that things started to move for us. Hoping the same for everyone else!

Just checked my status on the automated telephone line with my receipt number I got issued verbally yesterday, it says we have processed your bio-metrics fee and have sent form i-797 Notice of Action, I guess this is my extension letter :)

Awaiting to see if the check has been cashed, I presume it has

So I’m here at my InfoPass appointment. Basically they don’t have anything in their system at all. The supervisor is aware of a delay but I don’t think he understands the entire situation. He made a call to the office and came back telling me that we had submit an expedited request. The window officer was emailing the office and their reply to her was that we should have filed it 90 days in advance as they are 45 days delayed.

I just called the customer service number and nothing was in the system. I’m waiting for the call back from the tier 2. I’m sure they won’t be able to locate the file either.

The turn around time is 2 weeks for these requests.

Without confirmation from them, they are unable to issue an extension.

Now we’re waiting in the lobby waiting for the call back and lost as what to do next.

I just called CSC - like with everybody they can not locate my file. I am waiting for a call back now.
