Got 2 letters in the mail today - one for a fingerprint appointment (despite having a letter saying they will reuse my fingerprints, and my case not having been transferred to another office); and a request for evidence of things I thought we had shown enough of, but clearly didn’t.

Not the mail I wanted - but at least my case is being worked on!

Hi, do you have the fingerprints review completed status after you received the biometrics reuse letter?

5/5/18 ... woah almost a year to the date they now want my fingers!

For anyone interested; I called and they said they have no record of sending me a biometrics waiver. Which is odd and a little worrying as I’m looking at it! She said to bring the notice with me to my appointment to show them, but at that point I’m already there, you know. Oh well!

Congrats!! Did you receive any updates on N400 before the approval? Do you fee that application expedited your approval in any way? I know this is purely random how they are approving the I751, but I am getting my N400 ready and trying to decide if I should wait a few more days to submit it... My dates are almost identical as yours, am eligible to apply for N400 since 03/30. Was transferred to Nebraska on 03/05.

I filed N400 last march and had my biometrics april 24

Did you talk to tier 2 or tier 1 can verify it?

I guess I am not alone with the biometrics reuse letter and then getting a second letter with an appt to get my prints. Wonder if it was a glitch in their system. Mine are definitely older than 15 months so I can see why they want them again. Just curious why it took them that long to figure it out. Hoping that my case was ready to be approved and this is the only hold up!

Hi everyone,

Our case was approved on May 1st.

Info:

- Service Center: California

- Application sent: 04/27/2018

- Received: 04/30/2018

- NOA: 06/07/2018

- Extension: 08/18/2018

- Biometrics Appointment: 03/14/2019

- Approval: 05/01/2019

The “new” site still shows as “Case received” but the “old” site went from showing an error to “New card being produced.”

We were planning on filing the N-400 but decided to wait until the I-751 approval as we’ve noticed that applying for naturalization while having the pending ROC can sometimes delay the latter. Needless to say, we’ll be applying for it very shortly.

Hope everyone’s cases get approved soon :D

You should had that status after the letter. When did you receive the bio waiver letter?

Note that statuses may or may not change and it doesn't mean much if they don't.

On the new website, our status hasn't changed at all from "My case has been received" and we have received Bio-reuse letter and an approval letter in the mail.

On the old website, the status and prior statuses show that the case was received, that I sent a service request for the official 18 month extension (only received service copy) and that the card has been ordered for production. The Biometrics Reuse letter and the actual approval were skipped in what it shows online.

There are a fair amount of people who have their case as "My case received" and have no changes and end up receiving RFE's, Interview appointment letters, or approval letters out of no where.
