I received a text this morning saying that my case had been updated. The website says my case was moved to another office. Now I'm just waiting on the confirmation in the mail. The only thing I received today was a notice that they were re-using my biometrics.

CSC filer early April with a NOA date of June 1st.

Things seem to be moving...kind of...

So how long in total did it take you to wait? Does it less, equal or more than 18 months?

December 11, 2017 to February 22, 2019 approval so about 14.5 months, card in hand on March 1, 2019.

I hope you seriously have legit reason, re-scheduling can be really PITA.

Yes, I will be out of the country so unable to attend. My plans cannot change a week before at the drop of a hat. 👍

Just to add to the above, I don't really see much of an issue. If biometrics is delayed another month, so be it. It's already been almost a year. I have the 797 to cover travel until the end of the year, if it goes beyond that, I'll get a stamp or whatever.

I'm pretty sure it will be minimum 6 months still anyway (April filer).

I am an early Apr filer '18 with NOA of Apr 11th. Today when I checked on the tracker app my case shows "Case transferred and new office has jurisdiction. On march 4th, your... was transferred to another USCIS office. That office now has jurisdiction over your case. We sent you a notice that explains why we moved your case..." Just wondering if anyone here got the same status update and what was the outcome!! my notice is still in the mail...

My application's NOA is April 10.

WAC18138 csc

on the dhs site i see case received although I did receive notice that fingerprint Will be used again back in August.

I also received 18 month extension back in August.

the old USCIS site doesn't recognize my case number.

is this normal not to see fingerprint received/will be reused as a case status and that USCIS old website/ tracker doesn't recognize your case number?  I've seen some WACs after me being transferred so was wondering if anyone else on the same boat?

So I got my letter in the mail (Receipt number WAC181385XXXX) which says "We have completed a preliminary review of the application or petition ("your case") listed above.  As part of standard processing, we transferred your case to the USCIS office listed below that has jurisdiction over your case.  That office will notify you in writing when they make a decision on your case or if they need additional information.  POTOMAC SERVICE CENTER, 2200 Potomac Centra DR, MS 2425, Arlington, VA."

Has anyone else had this?  Didn't realize they had a service center in VA?

Just wondering if anyone else had anything like this or could tell me if it's just a standard transfer or something else?

I got the same letter. I didn't know they process i-751 in VA either.

Interesting, Potomac Service Center in VA is known as YSC in USCIS acronym lists.  They have been processing small forms like I-765 and I-90 for the longest time, I think they are now stepping up to join the big backlog clubs of Vermont and California.

We got the same email . WhAt is this means ?

we are mid April filers CSC.

I'm guessing it means they transfered our case from CSC to the Texas office. Perhaps to help move things along since they are backed up. i'm not sure if this is a good thing or bad thing.
