Also, our info is finally updated online too! Now when I check our case status it says fingerprint review complete and we are working on your application and will let us know if they need anything from us. I can also sign up for alerts and it actually shows the history of when I called back in October checking in on the case, etc. Hopefully, things will progress quickly from here!

Hiw I can sign to alert?

Go to https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/

Enter in your receipt number

If you have received a biometrics letter or a letter saying they are re-using biometrics, your case should now be online

If you have only received an NOA from when you filed last year, it might not be here yet - I have been doing this obsessively since April 2018 and only just today is our case online, even after receiving two NOA's in 2018.

If they do have your receipt number entered and active then you can just subscribe "Y" for mobile and e-mail alerts.

Hit My Cases on the home page

Then you have to scroll all the way down and it will list all of your Receipt Numbers with Last Updated, Form, E-mail Alert, Mobile Alert.

Select the case you want the alerts on and hit e-mail alert on / mobile alert on

Oh ok. You don't need to look up the exact date. We just filed and received our 18 month extension letter.

So we can receive the biometrics letter ranging anywhere from a few weeks to a year. That's all I wanted to know.
