Oh wow, you guys have to go get the actual biometric done? I received the letter today saying they would be using the previous one. It seemed like some people got biometric waved and some others got scheduled to do the actually biometric. I wonder if it was randomly selected or because different service centres.

My husband hasn’t had any biometric done within the last 2 years so I would’ve been surprised if they waived it. I think most that got it waived may have had it done more recently.

I planned to apply N-400 when the time comes.

My friend got his N-400 done last year when he waited for almost 2 yrs on his I-751. He told me they will request our spouse come with us to the interview if we have not had I-751 approved.

Since we starts seeing things move forward with us right now, it would be better that we have I-751 approved before we apply for N-400.

I wonder how long does it takes from the time they accept our Fingerprint to the time they approve and send us the card?

I will travel back my country on April 5 and my expecting filing time for N-400 is April 7. Want to have thing done before my trip.

that's good to know. I am afraid to send the N400 and have the process take longer because of it.

Received biometrics letter for March 14th...when I'm away in the UK for a week!!! Typical; any other week within a 3 month window would have been fine.

Is it possible to walk-in and get this done? I'd really rather not reschedule. Thanks for any help.

April filer here! We just got our letter today saying they will be re-using our biometrics from last year and that our application is processing. Woohoo! So relieved we don't have to do biometrics again. We are CSC. Notice date 2/22/19.

Also, our info is finally updated online too! Now when I check our case status it says fingerprint review complete and we are working on your application and will let us know if they need anything from us. I can also sign up for alerts and it actually shows the history of when I called back in October checking in on the case, etc. Hopefully, things will progress quickly from here!
