Just curious but has anyone that has filed ROC here in April with CSC received their Biometrics appt. letters yet?

Nothing.  Some got a notice that their previous bio will be used.

Question for this Forum: I sent my ROC application on April 16, and it was received on April 18, 2018. But when I log into my account it says application was received on June 1. I am assuming that is related to the delay we had while getting invoices. As I see some Nov 17, Dec 17, Jan 18 applications getting approved - will we be truly processed as April or as June??

We have not received anything either. Filed April / received May 8th.

All we have received is a 12 month and 18 month extension - no letter that they are reusing biometrics or anything.

It is stressful. :(

May I Ask You how you can Log In to an account?

When I am trying to check my Case Status online, all it comes up with is:

"At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the USCIS Contact Center at 1-800-375-5283 for additional information."

I have gotten the 12 and 18 Month extension letter,

Also a letter saying they use my previous BIO for this application.

Should there be something in my Case Status or is it normal that it doesn't show anything yet?

I applied nearly a year and half ahead of all of you. Here are some advice from someone who has been through it all very recently.

  1. Keep updating your evidence as you wait.  You will need it at one point or another. Whether it is for RFE or interview, they will want what you didn't file in those 2 year wait.
  2. Do not trust the Case tracker site or the DHS site if you use one exclusively. Sometimes one gets updated but not the other. Keep an eye on both.
  3. Get email and text updates. It helps. ALOT!
  4. Check your case in the middle and the beginning of the month. Make sure to log in at least once every 2 weeks.
  5. If you move, submit an online AR-11 asap.
  6. Try not to change things a lot and minimize travel while your case is pending.
  7. Call the USCIS phone once a month and see if they have more updates. They will probably be wrong though or just the same as the website.
  8. DO NOT FREAK OUT. No matter what happens. If nothing happened, then you are still in the pipeline.  If something happens, then you are at least moving.
  9. if you are considering applying for naturalization, apply for N-400 online as soon as you are eligible. Don't wait. It helps when both are lumped together.
  10. Finally, relax. You are still in status and they will not do anything unless you did something utterly stupid!

Good luck to everyone.

Hi, thanks.

What evidence do you suggest we collect at this point? Are you saying we still need to keep collecting photos and such?

Sorry for the late reply...She did not have any issues showing her expired green card and extension letter.  So it's safe to travel with an expired green card, just as long as you have your extension letter.

Hey Will and Malou. Thanks so much for the reply. I don’t go online here often. Yes we did travelled and had no issues. We had all the documents and all was well. Still waiting for the ROC result hehe.
