I filed on April 17, 2018. I got my 12 month letter in late June, followed by my 18 month letter in late August. I haven't heard anything about fingerprints. Should I call USCIS and find out about it - or are many people in the same boat?

I check the status online - it says "At this time we dont have any info ... etc. etc.".

Still no biometric, april filer. If you use uscis.gov site than it will show error. Always use https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/  this link. Create an account and you will be able to check your case status. I hope it helps for you.

At this point, you can call and they will put in a notice to CSC that you still have not received your Biometrics. Tier 1 can do this. It is past normal processing times so you can do that - might not change anything, but it is an option.

I will add a lot of people - mostly CSC filers (including myself and my husband) - are in the same boat. Some filers are getting letters that they are re-using Biometrics from before. We haven't even received that yet though.

Coming close to filling N-400. Just want to know , if filing N-400 while I-751 is pending is a good idea or not.

Please help me to decide should I file or should I wait for my green card.

Anyone thats gotten their 18 month extension try to travel outside of the US during this time? Since the green card is expired, did you get your passport stamped or just carry the extension letter with you? Any issues that anyone faced regarding this?
