Honestly I'm not worried about the application or anything, just annoyed how long this whole thing is taking.

I'd advise people just to get on with their daily lives, and wait for USCIS to get back to you. If it's confirmed delivered, then that's all you can do.

This is a wise advise, there is nothing we can do at this point but wait, impatiently... but I can't help out getting distressed and think that this is due to something we did wrong. :bonk:

We read in another thread  a post by ApplyingforN400 that the reason they are so delayed with the ROC cases is because they are not urgent cases when considered within the whole immigration process, as conditional residents are in reality permanent residents who only a judge can revoke the residency status. So even if the NOA is delayed, that doesn't mean that that is the end. We don't know if this is true but it certainly relaxed us and we are going to hold on to it for what is worth, or we'll lose our minds with the wait. :clock:

We do not know if it is just in our heads but we are having the impression that April is going really slow with the NOAs, even for the VSC, and because we have nothing better to do to avoid biting our nails while we wait, :pop:we decided to see if this was just our feeling or if April is really going slow.

So far it is hard to know with April because only 7 of the 30 couples (23%) that have added their dates to the spreadsheet have received their NOA, and the month its almost done!! :wow:

but using the information entered by the March 2018 filers we calculated that:

- for the VSC the average time for the check to be cashed was 7 days +/- 5 days, from from the time USCIS received the package, and 9 days +/- 5 to get the NOA and

- for the CSC it was 9.7 days +/-3 to for the check and 12.2 days +/- 4 days to get the NOA.

Given this, it look like April is going just a little slower than the prior month, at least for now...:ranting: But we will eventually get there.

Hello guys,

My check hasn't been cashed until today. I sent my package on April 3rd and delivered on April 5th.

I just called USCIS to see if anything wrong with my case, they unable to locate since no case number. They advise me to wait 30 days since the package delivered, which is May 5th.

I saw some people in here submitting their case around the same time with me and already got NOA 1. I feel so anxious.

I finally sent off my package last week on the 17th and it arrived the 21st. I was eligible to send my wifes paperwork at the end of February, but laziness and busyness got the best of us. Seems there is quiet the backlog at CSC.

Hi everyone, just commenting so I can keep up with this thread in the coming months :).

Does the NOA1 extend your green card 1 year from the date of expiry or the date at which the NOA1 is dated?

your case number should be on your bio metrics letter, not the NOA1

This waiting around is a killer - After say 30 days, we can chase USCIS, but how would they find us without a number ?

They still haven't cashed your check?
