USCIS missed last letter in my last name (surname) - how should i fix it?

I filed request to correct my  last name - today I received new receipt with correct last name &  misspelled middle name :unsure:

I'm just afraid if I submit another request - they might mess up something else.

You need to register an account over at the new website. The old way of checking doesn't work anymore. https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/

Um, we did create an account and we're still getting the validation error message :(

Mine is extended for 12 months...from CSC. Any idea why it is 18 months for just a few filers?

It’s actually not just for new filers. Existing filers are supposed to be getting updated extension letters. Here’s the notice from uscis:

I sent my doc on 04/30. Got them back on 06/09, because didnt attach biometric fees. I resubmitted them on 06/11 and today check was cashed.

I would call them right away. They might lost it.
