Do you guys know if sending 2+ years of joint bank statements is overkill?

I think all the documents provided are for the duration of your marriage, so I don't think it's an overkill. I just printed out all the statements since we got married too...

Sent in my Items 4/7/2018, Received by USCIS 4/10/2018. It's been 9 days and still no NOA or the check being cashed. Seems like many get a response in a week or so.  My brain is entertaining all the things that could have gone wrong (wrongly filled form, things got messed up in the box while sending, wrong address) Wondering if I should call USCIS to check? Anyone roughly with the same timeline?

Hi NinjaMax, as far as I read on various threads, it seems like it's better to include the evidences on your living situation as you say.

Jackie, mine was received on 13th and still not yet cashed. Seems getting logged.

Definitely better to include the lease agreements !

OK the agreements are in your relative's name. Anyway, submitting lease + affidavit from your relative are the best you can do to establish your living situation.

Lana when did they receive them?on 4/10? Is vsc or CSC?

It was VSC and they received on 4/12! I did send a cashiers check, not a personal check, so I will go to the bank tomorrow to check the status of it. Don’t want the teller to think I’m crazy lol since it’s my 3rd time checking this week.. :)

I sent my package (California) on April 10th, and it was received (delivered by FedEx) on April 10th.

I've yet to receive anything. Should I expect an email, or just something in the mail. Realise it's only 9 days but I kinda expected it by now given what I've been reading about times to NOA...like others, the stress begins again and I would just like to get some acknowledgement from USCIS.

Edit: Sorry, just saw your post Lana, guess we're in the same boat!

I went to DMV yesterday. and the lady over there said They cant issue State ID to me because my GC is expiring in 10 days. So now i am worried. because on Monday next week If HR sees my GC and ask me that its expiring after 3 days and do u have extension letter ....what am i gonna tell them? Joining date April 23 and GC expiration date April 26. Thats why  I am worried.

You should google USCIS From I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.  This is the form that your HR must complete and you will sign on the first page.  Look at the top of the form and see the Anti-Discrimination Notice.  This states that Employers cannot specify that you show your Green Card.  There are alternative documents that you can show to establish identity and employment authorization.  It also says, "...The refusal to hire or continue to employ an individual because the documentation presented has a future expiration date may also constitute illegal discrimination."  Then look at  page 3, List A Documents that establish both identity and employment authorization.  You only have to show one document from List A.  You can show your foreign passport that contains the I-551 stamp instead of your Green Card.  Also, see Lists B & C for alternative documents to show.
