Thanks Tom, will USCIS be okay with me responding to my RFE with a whole new I-864 with W-2’s/Tax Returns etc as they just requested the 1040/birth certificate from my current co-sponsor? And shall i send a withdrawl from my current co-sponsor along with all the other stuff?

Call uscis and ask them , talk to the tier2 who knows better.

Applied on April 05. 

Ead received april 10

1485 received April 17

Biometrics done may 10

Ead update  may 14 saying fingerprint review was completed 

 

 

1485 update August  22 saying case is ready to schedule for an interview..... august 27 saying interview was schedule.....

 Interview was schedule for October 02

 

Ead update sept 05 new card is being produced 

 

 Ead update Sept 07 saying we mail new card 

 

Ead update sept 10 with tracking number 

Ead in hand sept 12

 

1485 interview  Oct 02.. just got a email and text .. green is being produced

Hi guys...Is there anybody whose case is still 'received'? My received date is on April 24th, I received an RFE on Jun 24th and I was able to send them the necessary documents. So then by the end of July they updated my case as 'RFE received". Ever since then still no update about my case. I was wondering if I should wait when it's outside the normal processing time, so then I could submit a SR to them? Or should I contact my lawyer or even my Sacramento City Congresswoman about it?

Quick question:

 

What picture did USCIS use in your EADs? Is it the passport picture that you included in your application? Or is it the picture taken during your biometrics appointment?

It’s the one taken at the biometrics appointment

Ugh. Even for the green card?

 

My photo looks more like a mugshot. Lol. If I have known, I would’ve fixed myself a little. I thought they’re going to use the one we submitted.

We recieved our RFIE from USCIS on Monday - it was regarding my partners taxes! Pretty easy fix. 

 

We sent back our response over night via Fed Ex. Fed Ex tracker states that USCIS signed for our documents at 10.30am this morning.

 

I still haven’t recieved EAD/AP so I’m praying that they get around to my case ASAP. 

 

I still cant quite believe my luck with this whole process haha

 

An RFIE issued 6 and a half months after filing with no EAD/AP - Ahh I hope I’m at the end of all of this now! I wonder how long I will have to wait for response?!

I got RFE notice today also! How long after the notice you got the mail? After four month, I got an RFE, what a bad luck

They sent it Tuesday the 25th of September and I recieved it on Monday October 1st

I didn’t think it took that long to be fair. I received the notification on the Tuesday afternoon that it had been mailed and I recieved it in the mail on Monday. So techinically only 4-5 day. 

 

It also think mailing times depend on where you live. I live in Michigan.

Usually should just take two days for normal mails ..

Ours had the one my husband took during the biometrics.
