Hi, my card was in production on 08/17 and my card was mailed to me on 08/22.  I received my approval notice in the mail on 08/23. However, I still have not received my card as of today, 08/27. Did you receive your card?

I received my approval notice on 08/23 and got card 08/25. I don't know why you haven't received yours. It came as a USPS priority mail which normally takes 2-3 business days and going by the fact that we received the approval notice on the same day, I would think you should have it by now.

I know it's hard to be seeing all those people getting their EAD cards while you haven't got it yet but the truth is the official waiting times are 5-7 months so there's absolutely nothing wrong with you not getting it in your 4th month. Your NOA is in May so actually you could be in May group because everything counts from NOA1 anyway...

hmm thank you! When you check your status on the USCIS website, does it say that the card was delivered to you? or does it still say that the card was mailed to me?

Thank you for all your help!

you are right, I counted from NOA1 and it was roughly four months. NOA1 was April 26, picked up EAD card August 25. I also received a RFIE in between the four months.

it only shows "Card was mailed to me" on both egov.uscis.gov and my.uscis.gov. so your card must be somewhere in the post. Give it a couple more days and call USCIS that you think your card is missing in the post, they should be able to find a way to track it or send you tracking info.

In NJ they used the NOA1 that was issued for the I-485 to issue the license for 6 months. I was told it would be a 1 year license but was tired from 8 hours at MVC and didn't pursue it any further.

So in NJ (at the one particular office I found) they did not mind the K-1 date, just that we had proof we filed the AOS

That's interesting. The DMV in NY explicitly told me that they wouldn't take "open-ended" immigration proofs, like my NOA1. Everybody is so fantastically incompetent on this particular issue that I can't work out whether the rules are different or incorrectly applied.

It appears you’ll be getting your AOS before your EAD.

Has anyone received the message

”withdrawal acknowledge notice has been sent”

what happens with this?

we ended up with 2 cases for 765, sent a written request to cancel one months ago, called to check on it recently and USCIS told us to request the other one be cancelled.

we did this and then today the original one we had requested be cancelled was.

now they’re going to cancel both and I’m scared they’ll reject the 465.

we are just waiting for the 465 and hoping it’s approved soon because we do not want to start 765 again, pay for it and the 465 gets approved.

uscis is a mess😣

Woohoo EAD changed to "New card is being produced." It's weird because the status for the AP document didn't change. I thought they come together?

I was approved on 8/17- new card in production.

Card was sent to me - 8/22

received approval notices in mail -8/23

as of 8/27- I still have no received my combo card.

Thank you for all your help!

I called the USCIS and spoke to Tier 2 and they said that my Combo card still has not shipped even though the status says that it was shipped on 8/22. Anyone have this happen to them?
