Really? I thought it represents the processing center as this article in CitizenPath: https://citizenpath.com/uscis-receipt-number-explained/

If yours is also MSC, does it say "NBC" on your service center column on your biomedics scheduling notice?

Thank you!

If I find it I will let you know but from the article MSC is National Benefits Center so it makes sense as initially AOS, EAD and AP are all processed there.

MSC is Missouri. That's where the National Benefits office is. I think they deal with EAD's and advance parole.

The actual AOS form i-485 goes to your local office. This is what I understand of it anyway.

When you received your RFE , it was from NBC or your local office? When you sent back RFE, you sent back to NBC or local office ?

I believe it was from NBC, we resent it back to the NBC afterall.

Congratulations!. It's about a week. At first you will get the letters of Approval EAD and AP. And then 2 or 3 days after that, you will get the real card.

Mine is at the NBC too. But NBC will forward to your local office when your local office is ready to schedule interview for you.
