Congratulation ! I cannot imagine how responsible she is. You are a lucky one.

Could you let me know how you find the local Congressman/woman? I never tried to do so. It looks like I should start doing your way as soon as possible, instead of waiting for the USCIS. I have big trip coming up in October and everything is still uncertain now.

Thank you so much!

In this link you can find your Congressman by zip code

After almost four months since we sent in our documents I now see on USCIS webisite ---->>> RFE 😭

Hey,

RFE’s are good... in a weird way! Means someone has been assigned your case! Pending you sort the RFE out swiftly (and have no more issues) you should be approved soon!

Hi guys, please help. If anyone faces this issue before, please advise.

I called USCIS yesterday to expedite EAD process based on financial hardship and have active job offer. Today, I just received email about my case:

"The status of this service request is:
Due to the high volume of expedite requests for this case type, we are strictly enforcing the criteria that has been set for these expedite requests. While your situation appears serious, you have not provided evidence of an extreme emergent need. "

This is the first email I received, and I didn't not have any chance to send/fax my supporting documents. Is this a system mistake?

I first noticed a change on my phone in the USCIS app but they sent me an email notification, just a day later. Both sites got updated.
But I want to say that I had my EAD and AP rejected in February because we forgot to include AOS 🙂 so in fact we waited almost 6 months since then and 4 since the second attempt.

ROC:  Received Jan 25 2021    NOA 1: February 25 2021 (LIN/Nebraska).    BIOMETRICS: April 30  2021
APPROVED: June 23 2021     CARD DELIVERED:   June 30 2021

AOS:          Received Date:  April 2      NOA 1:  April 5 2018
Biometrics:  April 27  Fingerprint Review Was Completed:  April 30
Case Ready to be scheduled: May 3
( that update only showed up in August! after being notified about EAD&AP )
EAD&AP  We approved your case:  August 8   /  In the mailbox:  August 16 2018
Interview   -    March 14 2019    (
Notice Date:  February 1)  -   Approved!

Haha! It happens! When we sent off our K1 application January 2017 we didn’t include any evidence... like at all..... 🙃🙃🙃

We just filled out the forms and sent them haha!

Good luck with everything! Enjoy working life!

I see 😀, a minimalist way 😆. I was of course convinced that we attached the AOS form and was suspecting USCIS of all kinds of things ...only to find the form still firmy sitting in the binder a month later...
I am happier about AP to be honest right now. Really want to go see my 3 little nieces and the rest of the family and friends.

I’m more excited about AP too! Planning a trip to the U.K. at Christmas and it will be nice to have the freedom to go back whenever! I’m with you!

Ohhh. This is so nice to hear! And it does feel like freedom...really.
Hope not much longer for you even though I was prepared for a longer wait 🐌

Hey guys,

I have received my combo card for EAD/AP approximately a week after my status update "new card is being produced." Surprisingly, I also received my new SS card with my married name in the mail today.

Filling Date: March 30th

NOA1 Date: April 9th

To those who changed their address, please request the change of address(online) on all 3 applications individually ( AOS,EAD, and AP),  as per Tier 2 Rep.  Even though I had requested for the address change for my AOS (it is already understood that all the applications will have the same address),  they  still typed the wrong address number (the numbers were interchanged) on my combo card and SS card. I have the notice letter of my address change for my AOS with the right address 2 months ago.

P.S. I even called them a week ago just to make sure they had the right address and they still got it wrong.
