Hi there, i am from minnesota! From what i have heard , they are very busy and slow!

Noa1 2nd May 2018

Biometrics 1st June 2018

Had an RFE in between which i sent within a week on the begining of june.

Else , no update!

Waiting game is on

I feel your pain. I am a January filer and my field office is Denver. Looking at VJ records Denver is on average a year to just over a year to the AOS interview. I keep joking I will be the last January AOS filer in the January thread talking to myself. lol

My case was "Ready to be scheduled for an interview on may 31st". I checked today and it's back to "Fingerprint review was completed".

I'm freaking out I thought I was almost there but now surprisingly going back to the departure point more or les ...

Does anybody have any inputs on that ? anybody with the same issue ?

Thanks.

I wouldn't be so overly concerned about the online statuses since it seems something along the lines of 50-50 of them being anything close to accurate. Since 5/15, ~1.5wks after my biometrics, my status on dhs site went from "Ready to be scheduled for interview" to "Interview cancelled" and still hasn't changed since getting the interview appt letter. I believe part of it is due to the disconnect between the NBC and the local offices.

I had my interview on friday… and got approved on the spot! It was a super simple interview. She basically went through the I485 form and confirmed all my responses, asked how we met, and asked for proof of relationship. I had 5 pictures, auto policy, Costco membership, and a house contract. She only kept my costco membership and house contract for her records.

My card should be arriving this week. Goodluck to everyone! Much easier than the K1 process!

CONGRATS!! I can't even  imagine your happiness and excitement. Good luck in this new chapter in your life. (I can't wait to be there myself lol)

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Got our interview letter yesterday dated for July 23rd. Raleigh, NC office.

Filed 4/5/18

NOA1 4/12/18

Biometrics 5/4/18

Interview 7/23/18

Edit: Just to note, AOS from F1. I just post in here since I didn't see a living thread in the non-K1/K3 AOS forum.

Yours is so quick! Amazing! Your local office is very quick!

We got the same notification, similar timeline except Bio done sooner. The only difference is that we never had the status changed on the website, just via text/email.

She went through the I485 form and confirmed all my responses - it was very casual. The only other question she asked was if i was working - which was obviously a trick question!

It was a very easy interview!

Hello everyone! I am a May filer, and have a question. My biometric appointment was on June 13, 2018, and since then no updates (no RFE, no update on interview scheduling). Has anyone experienced similar situation?

If you download the USCIS third party app and use the "Next 50" search function, you'll see what the statuses are of cases which were submitted around the same time as yours (the reference numbers are chronological).

Some of the AOS cases submitted in April around mine are still showing as biometrics or case received. It's a mixture. My K1 is still showing as "Case Received" despite being approved in January (and I was married in April!), so I wouldn't worry too much about what it says online. It seems as though some are rarely, if ever, updated.
