I think it was only taken less than 7 minutes. I walked into the Application Center office, I saw only 4 people was waiting in line. The staff checked my appointment letter and passport. And then she gave me the form to filled up. After that I return the form and waiting in line. After a minute of waiting, I came into separate open room. They take my picture and fingerprints.

just received the 3 NOA1 physical letters! quick question I never clarified during the K1 process:

on the VJ timeline there's two fields: "Filing date" and "NOA date for I-485/others". I'm filling them with the dates on the "RECEIVED DATE" and "NOTICE DATE" fields on top of the NOA1s. is that what you did?

Hi Guys,

Sorry for my incompetence, but I have a few questions. Hoping someone can help.... We just got married this week and now I am completing the AOS forms. I am the foreign citizen here on K1 visa.

  • Where do I get “A-Number” that goes on top of every page?
  • Part 1 - 11.  USCIS Online Account Number?  Is this the WAC number?
  • Part 1 - 14.  Do you have to complete an alternative mailing address or can you just leave it blank?
  • Part 1 - 24.  What is your current immigration status (if it has changed since your last arrival)?  Do I just leave this blank?
  • Part 5 - How many times have you been married?  This is my first marriage, so do I put 0 or 1?
  • The form is also not allowing me to write N/A is the sections I don’t have any info.. it say only letters and hyphen.  Can I just put “N A”

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Wouter

We had biometrics on the same day, today!
Now, the roulette starts... Will we wait a long time like some people who filed last July and still don't have the interview scheduled or we will be like those in January and even February who have their interviews scheduled...

I need to know if my husband needs to file a separate affidavit and provide income evidence if he is not the actual sponsor ( because he has no job anymore). His father is the joint sponsor. thanks!
