My fiance, (from Ireland), and I filed a I-129F on September 13, 2017 and received a Notice of Approval (NOA2) from USCIS on March 8, 2018. The NVC has received our case - but has not yet processed it or sent information along to my fiance or the U.S. Embassy in Dublin.

We are wondering if there is any chance my fiance can visit the U.S. while his K-1 visa is being processed. My brother is getting married on May 5, 2018 - and my fiance wants to attend but it doesn't look like his K-1 visa will be approved by then, and we don't want to cause any further delays for him entering the U.S. permanently.

We appreciate any guidance on this!!!

Make sure he brings enough proof of ties to his country since he has already a K1 visa in process so he is not at risk of being sent back home at POE. I doubt that will happen but you can't be too careful.
