Ok, so I'm guessing you mean the latest tax return? Technically you don't have to file until April 15, when is your interview date? If it is before this and your fiance makes enough money to cover the 125% poverty level (proof is pay stubs and tax returns) then you will be just fine. He can send you his latest pay stubs which will be enough proof of income if they match up with previous incomes or more.

You're supplying 3 years worth, that's fine..

Really just give current pay stubs, 3 years of W2's, not the tax transcripts. for the I-134 W2's should be fine. 3 years of tax transcripts will be needed for the AOS process though but there's time to get that.

I sent for the interview:

I-134

3 months of current pay stubs

3 years W2's (all from same company and all shwoing consistancy)

Letter from employer

^^^ I came here to literally say what the last person said :P

Unless your interview date were to fall after the due date for 2017 taxes, I don't believe they will necessarily be looking for them or will ask for them. As long as you have the prior years and other sufficient info, you should be fine.

Håll ut, y'all.

Ok, so that is before the filing deadline....if he gets it done he can email you a copy....if not does he have same employer as previous years? If he does then it shouldn't be a problem...they understand that some people don't have their 2017 taxes done yet. I wouldn't worry to much.

2017 ITR isn't due until the 17th of April, until then all you need is the MOST RECENT tax return & W2, for now that would be 2016.   So you are just fine for now.    You DO NOT need 3 years of tax returns.   And you DO NOT need an employer letter unless your fiance is a a new employee.
