Vacationing w Ghanaian to third country

I was researching and noticed there are over 60 countries a Ghanaian passport holder can travel to visa free. Anyone here had experience travelling to a third country with your SO(significant other)? Where did you go?

   Be careful about where flights connect.  They may need a transit visa.

We went to Dubai UAE last month; he did need a visa but it’s a popular destination for West Africans so it wasn’t a big deal.  Hope that helps!

It was very safe! Lots of families out at night, super clean. The trains were spotless, way nicer than San Francisco.  We enjoyed ourselves very much, it’s very built up so plenty of malls and attractions but my favorite parts were the excursions into the desert.

And Emirates flies there directly from Accra so that was convenient.

Hey in March my husband I stayed in Dubai for one night and we stayed in Singapore for the remaining of our trip . In Dubai my husband received a transit visa at the Dubai airport . No visa is needed for Singapore and we had an amazing time

That’s cool - now that this K1 process seems to be taking longer than we expected, it might be nice to sneak in another trip before he gets to the US. I can fly direct to Singapore so that’s not bad. Once you got there, was it expensive?  I see we can also go to Jamaica or Barbados without a visa also 🤔

I would visit Ja...But look the cost of flight! Why not visit there country again, but go somewhere different. A "STAYCATION".

That's true!  For me the USC the flights aren't sooo bad, but for him it seems like every flight is 24 hours and like $2,000 hahaha.  Even going to Dubai or East Africa isn't as bad.  I think we'll try to remain patient and wait for this K1 drama to be over so we can both be stateside!
