So I have my visa interview on April 20 and my lawyer insists that I will not need the affidavit of support form we submitted earlier in the process.. for anyone that has already been to the interview did they ask for a copy of that form? My interview letter confirmation did not ask for it but the checklist online to prepare for interview does mention it. Would greatly appreciate any response, thank you!

when my wife did her interview in manila they did not ask for it but she did have a copy in case

it is always better to have something you do  not need then not to have something that you do need

They had us bring that, W2's, original marriage certificate on the checklist and didn't want to see them at the interview.  It's always good to be prepared, but your lawyer may be right in that it likely won't be needed.

They specifically asked for ours at our interview a few weeks ago. The actually requested the original and a copy (in addition to birth & marriage certificates, etc.). May depend on your case/embassy, but I would bring the original and a copy. Better to be over-prepared.
