Yes, as India is a high fraud country so it will be scrutinized further. Are you and Indian or American with US Citizenship?

I'm US citizen filing for my husband, who is from India.

I'm living in India with him

I'm Indian race with US citizenship.

But from Trinidad and Tobago. Got US citizenship a while ago.

Thank you for reply

Oh so this maybe a little quicker process  since you live in India.

How do I know if my country is high fraud too? Is there a list or so?

Of course UK is considered Low Fraud etc, but I am still seeing they are taking almost the same amount of time to process, so as I said it just means that some countries are more scrutinized than others.

Really?  I have a US address where my mom and dad live in Alachua, FL.

On the applications.. I did put my address in India. Been staying here since marriage with my husband.

We're both same color. Indian

I really appreciate the replies I'm getting.. today my husband just lost hope and I also. I began to cry.

Yes my husband is struggling very much too. This is extremely difficult for everyone..especially those who are separated during the process. Each day is one step closer...that is all I focus on. :)

Ah I see, my country is not there but our reputation is not the best, so... About UK, perhaps brexit has something to do with it? Thanks for the info!

I don't think the slow process during our I-130 has to do with our partners' countries; I believe that is more of an issue during the interview stage (as some people are held in AP for a long time....). I believe we are just very unlucky to be at NSC.

No that has nothing to do with it. Each case is unique and individual, so there are many reasons for the difference in processing time, but its all about the petitioner and beneficiary background checks.
