Yes, His older brother had came to the USA to attend college.  He missed his brother so he applied for a visitor visa, he said they denied him and said go get married (in other words to it would provide a reason he would return back to Palestine).    Well  as I call dumb and desperate went back on 2 separate attempts to apply again for said visitor visa and reported he was married to a women in his country providing fake marriage certificate.   He still was denied.  So he has never stepped outside of his country --- never been to the USA.

So even though he never came here to the USA, they can still deny him for lying all those years ago.

Ohhhh so he provided a false document. I see. That makes sense now because at first I couldn't understand how a denial of a visitor's visa can possibly affect I-130 process. Now that makes more sense after you had explained it

NOA1 for I130 - Dec 10th, 2018

Filed for K3 July 8, 2019.

Expedited I130 September 8, 2019 still pending review

Expedited I129F September 28, 2019.

I129F expedite request was denied on October 1st, 2018. No change since. Still pending approval/denial

I think I might have to disable the estimated approval date emails. They’re just too depressing. Most people in my life would never call me an optimist, though I do have a belief that things are going to speed up. Just me??  With the congressional and senate demands for transparency, and a new deputy director, something has to get better, doesn’t it???  🙏🏻

I know exactly how you feel, starting the process in February our estimated approval was in November. Now it keeps getting pushed back and now is in the beginning of February...

Our CR1 Journey:

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

Same!  Though we were early February, so we’re still estimated for January. For now... 😜

Im interested in where it’s pulling it’s data from as it says 35% chance we’ll have a decision June/July 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Since the Senate has now issued an investigation on USCIS backlog we all need to call in and EXPEDITE our petitions under "financial burden"

Who is in?

We tried to expedite for that reason few days ago ..

they denied it without asking any evidence our anything .

Less than 1 hour after the case assigned we received the answer ..

The wife and I filed July 10th '18 and projected date is like June 23 or something now so I would put that percentage more like 0 to .000000000001...😁 Sorry...😔

Few days ago they were not aware of the Senators letter. I'd wait couple more days untill Nebraska gets briefed on the issue.

You can try and see ..but we had them on the phone and I am pretty sure they know what’s going on.. they just to bury one's head in the sand..

we need to be like in an emergency crisis in the country we live to have an expedite .

They told us that event if we try again we will have another denial and that they are very late in Nebraska and now the process between NOA1 and NOA2 is between 1 to 1.5 year .

1 to 1.5 years.....?!? So those of us at Nebraska are likely to get our NAO-2 after those at Potomac already have visa in hand.

Yep.. That’s the information they gave to my husband when they called us back ...

yes it’s so unfair..

It’s completely infuriating when Potomac are clearing/approving within 90 days

there is no reasonable or acceptable excuse

No there is not I agree but we are in front of an administration who completely don’t care about us ..

its like “ hey you have just the right to s*** up and we do what we want of your life “

sorry but I am at the end of my patience ..

Why do they refuse to transfer cases when Nebraska is clearly backlogged and Potomac clearly isn't

Because I think like that immigration get slower ..
