me at 258 days I better want to wait right now ..

Yeah I guess that makes sense. I'm at 213 days but according to VJ I'm looking at late September to be approved so 4/5 months still feels so far away

I know they are playing with our nerves ..

even a month look too far right now 😞

i am now ( according to VJ) looking at the 3rd of August ( when the 10 months for me arrived in the 29th of June ..)

i will still not try the I129 because with them we don’t know what can happen . I don’t want to come back at the start of the process if they decided to link everything

Hello everyone,

I read on a FB group that one person with PD in January 2019 got their NOA2 notice few days ago - from NEBRASKA. Very nice lady who explained that they didn't expedite but that their lawyer applied for both I130 and I129F - and the I130 got approved within 4 months...

Do you guys think that applying for I129F can actually make them hurry on I130 process? (as we all know they don't really issue K3 visas anymore)...

If that's the case, things are even more screwed up than I thought!

I also just saw on the FB group that people filing for family members other than children and spouses have already been approved at Potomac; PD January 2019. The injustice is truly astounding

There is something we don’t know ..

ans that we will never probably ..

The I-129 form is to apply for K1 (fiancée) or K3 visas. K3 visas are non-immigrant visas that allow a US citizen to bring their spouse in the US while the I-130 petition is being processed. For a K3 visa application , the I-129 form has to be send with or after the I-130 form. But K3 visas are not issued anymore, they just approve the I-130 since the processing of the I-129 form just takes as long.

No fee for filling I-129 with I-130 for a spouse 😉. But if we all do that, it's going to be more paperwork for them and won't speed things up in the end.

There is no fee if you apply for the spouse K3 visa as long as you already applied for I130...so it just a bit more paperwork but no fees
