January 2019 Potomac shows a lot more approves...

I decided to not look at Potomac approvals anymore now lol

because when I see the difference with Nebraska I just want to scream !!

i am not at the point that I think about staying in my country ( my husband is already here with me )

we are fighting against an administration who really not care about us and thinks that everything is ok ( if not they will do a redistribution a long time ago ) .

nobody of them listen or answer ..

so now as we say , basta ..

Today, with no text or email, I checked my mailbox and there it was... our NOA2 Approval dated for 5/7/2019. What an arduous journey so far. Pd: May 30, 2018

Congrats!! It always helps seeing an approval in this group!! I've tried to just avoid the December filing group, because most people are already approved.

That’s how I was with the May group. The updates were slowing down because everyone else had been approved.

Hello everyone,

I read on a FB group that one person with PD in January 2019 got their NOA2 notice few days ago - from NEBRASKA. Very nice lady who explained that they didn't expedite but that their lawyer applied for both I130 and I129F - and the I130 got approved within 4 months...

Do you guys think that applying for I129F can actually make them hurry on I130 process? (as we all know they don't really issue K3 visas anymore)...

This is quite possible. There was someone else in one of the other forums here, who had applied for both and were approved in a considerably shorter timeframe. If memory serves me, it was a July filer who was approved in November.

There’s a new deputy director at USCIS.  Let’s hope he can use some of his immigration and organizational experience to get things moving in Nebraska!! 🙏🏻

“We look forward to Mark joining our team, where he will quickly contribute to our mission of administering the nation’s lawful immigration system,” said USCIS Director L. Francis Cissna. “He brings a wealth of experience working complex immigration, organizational, and operational issues with our partners at Customs and Border Protection, Department of Homeland Security headquarters, and State.”

Huh. Would it make sense to file a 129F so many months after filing an I-130? Maybe we should all try this....?

What about to try to contact this person freshly arrived to advise him in what going on and ask for help ?
