Hi everybody ,

little question , sorry if somebody already asked 😬

when uscis say “receipt date for inquiry”

On their website it showing the day they are currently processing ?

I am sorry I am lost..

because there is like 1 month difference with VJ

thank tou for your answers 🙏

No, it is not the day they are currently processing. When your receipt date is the date shown or earlier, you have the right to submit an outside of normal processing time service request. And then they will respond to you that they will look at your case within 60 days.

I am sure if I go back and read it is posted in this blog.  However, I work 2 jobs and hard to read.   I just asked my attorney what the NVC fee will be and he said $1000.00 but when I read online it shows $325.00.    Is there a group of fees tied together that must be submitted when your I130 approval is transferred to NVC?  If so is $1000.00 close or exact?

thank you

Thank you!  I wonder why he said $1000.00?  Maybe he means the medical exam too....just trying to prepare us for the total.   That is a piece of cake prepared to the next step after his interview.  ughhh

And from what everyone is saying, they basically just say wait longer...

I was told and I agree, everything is just automated responses to keep us content

I agree too ..

my PD is aug.29 ,2018

i was supposed first to hear something in few days ..

right now with VJ timelines and people experiences I think I will not hear nothing before August 2019 so 1 year since I received my NOA1..

we we’re supposed to celebrate Christmas with family in Mississippi but I have real doubts now .

because NOA2 is not the end of the process .

if NVC stage get longer too it’s a story with no end

This whole process is SOOOOO discouraging... It's so hard to be positive no matter how hard we try. We are still doing our best to try, but somedays we fail...

Ours is 7/10/18 and from the beginning we had been convinced there would be slim to no issue having her here by or before our 1 year anniversary on 6/19/19 but that's nearly zero chance of happening now. It's definitely stressing us both out.

That’s soo true !!!!!

I think if we had more  real informations from the officials we will feel less alone .

but , when we try it’s still the same .nobody knows , we just have to be patient and wait .or when they answer it’s to make you feel like a dumb ..

Sorry but patience have limits even for somebody patient lol

on my hand after right now 7.5 months since my noa2 and knowing that I will not ear nothing before 2 /4 months just for the 2 nd notification i feel a little bit negative ..

I completely understand you ..

because In 2018 it was again 8 months at the max to receive NOA2

and now it’s like a year ..

my question is WHY????

all the attorneys told me my husband would be here before 12 months but no later than 15.  My Inquiry # 1 outside of normal processing times online - I got the infamous letter that states allow 60 more days.  Then after the 12 month mark...I got the exact same letter.   Then on the 14th month exact date of our filing fee they began to review.....Sadly, we received notice of intent to deny - which required me submitting requested evidence by 30 days of the letter.

I got the evidence to them and that was 2 weeks ago.   My application will be approved, we will go through the NVC process.....but sadly, at the interview he will be denied.

Then the bomb hits!   $5500.00 to the attorney, lots of homework and $930.00 waiver filing fee.   So sad.  So it will be almost 2 years wait.

I have this chance to have my husband here with in France and we really start to think about a plan B .

we can not wait forever and ever and pay and pay ..

we are thinking to finally stay here in France . Because , my husband had is French green card in 7 months ago and during  the process they allowed him to stay with me because we proved that our marriage was “ sincere” we crossed each step and they don’t want to separate family .

We had informations when we need and were able to reach someone at each time .

to see so little humanity don’t help I think ..

we don’t ask the world I think ..

I wish you luck and a positive final answer , don’t loose faith 🤞🙏
