I am still here.  January 12, 2019 will be 1 year.   No request for more evidence, no nothing.  Just the automated emails each 2 weeks.  States last time they touched our case was 09/20/2018.

I think I am the "sole" January 2018 filer for my husband.

Does anyone have thoughts on what is going on?    I find it so strange all the attorneys told me he will be here in 12 months, then it went to 15, last thing my attorney said in November was 18, but rumor has it 24 months for Palestine????

We feel hopeless and defeated.  Bad enough the time difference stops us from talking so much and we both have more than 1 job.  However, our LOVE is so still alive....we cry together.

Have you called their office? According to USCIS timeline, the Nebraska Service Center is processing cases filed on March 25 and if you filed before this date, you can request for a case inquiry. Have you done that?

I filed a request for reason for delay.   All I got was a generic response, pending additional reviews.  Not what reviews, nothing else.   He has NO-zero CRIMINAL background in any sorts.

I tried to call but the wait time was over an hour and I work 2 jobs, so I had to hang up.  However, my attorney said they will not tell me anything.

He will not file a request himself until it is 60 days past my priority date 01/12/19.

so in the dark

Does anyone know if Trump shutting down the Government etc etc has affected our I130 processing?   I have not received my normal emails each 2 weeks

I’m sitting here discouraged watching all of the Potomac filers get their approvals and yet we wait in the dark for almost double the amount of time that they wait. August filer, now saying late May- early June. I’m currently living overseas with my husband. I’ve been here for 7 years, but my business in the USA is falling apart and I need to go rescue it. The wait is excruciating! I wish they would just balance the workload so that all of us have a chance to be approved within a normal period of time!

Hi!  I hope for you it is quick and smooth for you and your spouse.  My husband is in Ramallah, Palestine.   I filed for him January 12, 2018.   We decided to use an attorney to make sure all is perfect.  Consulting with Attorneys they all advised he would be in the US by 12 months but could go as long as 15 with Trump Changes.   My husband heard from his Ramallah it was taking them up to 24 months.  I asked my attorney he said NO!  He said 15 months or less.   Now the story has changed to 18-24 months, making Rumors correct.

Our application was accepted, all they are waiting for is all the criminal record investigation requests to finalized the I130 approval.

I spoke to other Palestinians here is the USA and they said the delay is from the country abroad and they all said it took them 2 years.

I hope Jordan may be different.   We have been really saddened to see everyone else approved in such a quick manner, less than 8 months as quick as 5, so everyone fully approved to come in 12 months.  We are just in the dark. .....waiting.

My Attorney said the Government shut down by Trump will not/has not affected the processing of our applications/process.

My attorney advised me the same.

However, all my emails each 2 weeks from the Government has ceased.

Has anyone else stopped receiving their updates?

01/12/2019 - will be 1 year we have been waiting in the dark.

Last night my husband said to me, Jess, why don’t we just stay here instead of waiting and stressing and paying tons of money? We’re already happy together, maybe we don’t need to go there and find another answer.

*sighhhhhh*

The stress is getting to both of us.

Side note - this is the second time that we’ve filed. We filed before we were married under a Fiancé visa and we decided to withdraw and just stay in Cambodia. Then my business in the USA went downhill and we decided that maybe we should file again and take care of it.
