Congrats!

It was updated online..

Now they take time to give a case number..

Which account.. old or new?

egov.uscis.gov was updated.

myaccount.uscis.gov wasn't, at least not yet.

The new account is that

http://myaccount.uscis.gov

I guess we call it the "new" account 🤪 and other one egov.uscis.gov is the "old" one.... But it seems like everything is old at nebraska service center as we've been there over a year 🤪😂

Ok thank you.  At least you got one of them updated.  They're bad at updating.

This is a depressing testament to the length of time in limbo... so long that you have seen their web-based customer service account change to a new system...

Yes, it helps when getting an update.

My one was updated with his account.  My old account still says case received.

On a related but somewhat different topic, do any of you have experience with changing your address with USCIS during the process? I am asking here because our I-130 is with Nebraska service center for whatever reason, but my USC wife is going to moving back down to the US ahead of me. I wonder would that trigger a service center change?

Can you provide the number you are entering into the case tracker. Thanks

Don’t know what numbers I searched this morning, since I click back and forth a lot, but in after-work-searches:

Saw Aug 10th approvals made on July 25th and 26th when searching -578000

Saw an Aug 16 RFE from yesterday searching -581000.

I doubt they’d reassign service centers based on address changes since they’re not really assigned by region =/

Petitions aren't assigned based off where you live anyways, so no her moving will not trigger any kind of service center change, even if it was based off location I doubt they would bother to transfer even still. She can change her address on here to update the mailing address for the petition: https://egov.uscis.gov/coa/displayCOAForm.do it is fast and easy, only takes a couple minutes. I just used it recently to update my mailing address as well

Are you supposed to get a status update when your address has been updated? My husband updated his address over the phone two months ago but we never got confirmation that they actually updated it. We still have access to mail at both addresses but that's changing at the end of August so if there were any issues with the update we want to fix it now.

I am not a lawyer and nothing I say is or should be taken as legal advice.

Not sure how it works over the phone but I put my new address in online on that website link 3 days ago and just got an email today with a receipt about the change and at the bottom a confirmation that they changed it in their electronic system, I'd recommend he do it online too just in case, all he has to do is put in his name and information, the I-130 receipt number, his country of citizenship (USA) and the new address and done and then he should get an email a few days later with an update

I saw 5 approvals for I-130 from Oct 25. I’m starting to wonder if they randomly pick cases....

But I have seen a case from January 2018, still no approval, all I think is that this might be my case. I don't know what is going on there, it is like they play God in our lives but don't consider we are humans. Since the change in the processing times, i already had 2 meltdowns. I don't know how long I can do this. I have been sick for almost two months, from multiple things, it is just me not handling my mind anymore, but honestly I see no ending. I can't do anything else besides getting stressed about and I have no one to talk about here. It is like my life is on hold and I just cant move forward at the moment, I feel all I want to do is just sleep until this is over.
