The processing times for NSC changed again? What the hell is going on!

I was actually expecting that. According to to the data from case tracker there are overwhelmingly more I-130 petitions in August than compared to July.

Me too... It’s been a month and a day since our I-129 NOA1, if the pattern stays the same we could hear back any day now... but I’m losing hope 😔

Hi hope you will hear something soon , obviously they take 1 month / 1 month and a half to process it so your close . Keep fingers crossed 🤞

i am loosing hope too really .. I just talked with my husband who is here with me , I have this chance , , and we are really thinking to stay in my country . If things keeps going like that , wit all the time processing for everything we will not move before next summer .. this process is not human anymore ..

I checked case tracker again, but for a pessimist I was a bit too optimistic, late in August and decreasing dates until I got locked out, not seeing any updates in the ranges I was searching. Will look at earlier dates tomorrow.

processing times just went up to 11.5-15...

I’m not sure what you mean. Are the dates going down? Are August being approved?

It was 11-14.5 months before, now they've increased processing time by half a month, 11.5-15 months. Some people in August are getting approved but they're definitely slowing down by the looks of it.. Apparently a lot of August applications so it could take a while before they're done..

Our CR1 Journey:

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

I searched the back half of August, and saw no new updates there. I was a bit too optimistic starting on the back half instead of earlier dates.

I got locked out of case tracker for the day before I could go to earlier dates.

It’s just out of control. Statistics show this is all the trump administrations doing. Next year is time to vote out this racist administration that treats the US constitution like toilet paper!! We need to take our country and democracy back!! Admins on this board love to squash the real facts and figures, delete comments, manipulate posts, but historical data on USCIS and AILA show that this administration is trying to slow down and stop “legal Administration” let’s see if they leave my comment right here. 😌

You are totally right on what you say and I agree at 💯

From here , what I see it’s that even people who want to immigrate legally are not welcome anymore .. like if we are a danger , a disgrace and it’s not fair..

the process is slowing down more and more because they can not really stop legal immigration but they find another way to arrive at that .

soon for a USC as my husband who wants to bring is wife in his country it’s gonna take what ? 3years minimum ?
