Hey Guys,

We filed I130 to my wife's parents back in Nov, 2018 through NSC. Anyone received NO2 with similar priority dates from Nebraska yet or are they still far back? I think that a lot of I-130 petitions that have been transferred from CSC to NSC for the last several months may have also contributed to the slowness of NSC. Hopefully NSC won't again retrogress in the future.

The difference between an CR1 visa and a IR1 visa is pretty simple. If the couple has been married for less than two years, the foreign spouse will receive a CR1 visa. ... The IR1 (Immediate Relative) visa is issued to foreign spouses who have been married to a U.S. citizen for a period longer than two years. IR1 means immediate relative, CR1 means conditional relative.

Ohh okay that makes sense. So after 2 years I’ll have to file to remove conditions? Does this effect the NVC process?

All it affects is whether or not the beneficiary receives a 2 year conditional green card that needs removal conditions 2 years later or a 10 year green card upon entry in the US

I just got an I-767C for my I-129F. I was kinda excited because I received it from NSC and I thought it was the approval letter. Well at least they have my mailing address that’s correct lol
