Do you know if nvc has received your case yet? Or anyone approved in July?

I don't think NVC has received my case yet. I am expecting the online status to eventually change to "case was sent to the department of state". 6-8 weeks is normal waiting time for the case to be sent to NVC, I believe, even though it sometimes can go quicker. And then you have to wait for NVC to send you your case number. That's yet some weeks.

case tracker hasn’t updated and I can’t access the online account as my hubby gets the verification email 🙄

My case is not updated on this one. Neither on my old Uscis account, nor on Case Tracker. It’s been 11 days after the date of approval. Really weird.

Hmm. Ok. Old account still isn't updated. New account updated.

Weird it is.

But they are doing a system maintenance for all! Maybe it will improve stuff😃

Don't know what they're doing. It's long time.

I wanted to check old case status.

That's strange... What wrong with their system

Nebraska is nothing but trouble.  Why they don't improve their i130 spouse timings. We all have to wait a year. Then next nvc will take 5-6 months including interview.

No, it's not weird. I've heard it may take up to 30 days until your case is updated online. We were approved on June 27th and it still says "case received".

How did you guys know the case was approved?

Those who sent in I-129F is it guaranteed to go to Nebraska where the I-130 is? We are considering trying it (and are ready for either outcome whether it’s the K3 (even though unlikely) or the CR1 that comes first)

Our CR1 Journey:

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

Procedurally they should be linked and adjudicated together
