Today around 4pm my time, which was about 5am, early morning in US.

I got an email saying, we have taken an action has been taken on your case.

I logged in the new uscis account. And there it was y'all.... 🙏🏼🙂😭🌷🙏🏼  Old account not updated, still says case received.

I had my interview for an L1B visa at the Paris embassy yesterday and it was approved, yay! I will move with my Family to Richmond, VA in the next few weeks. I will have to apply for AOS once in the US but it's a relief to avoid the long wait at Nebraska and NVC. Good news for you too, it's going to be on less file in the pile. :D I realize how fortunate I am to have that opportunity and I do hope things get better at Nebraska for all of you.

Congratulations, Julien! It will be our Embassy , as well. For my husband’s CR1 visa

Thank you. I was actually very surprised by the interview. It lasted less than 5 minutes, the officer only asked me a couple of questions and did not even look at the supporting documents my company had prepared. Of course I said in the application that my wife had filed the I-130 petition for me and I was worried that they would ask questions about that and think it was weird that I wanted to move to the US and coincidentaly my company wanted to transfer me. But maybe it actually played in my favor since I was going to get a visa for the US eventually, no point being a pain and delaying it.

For our story, look at my profile.

Hmm seems you are being quite judgmental of folks on this thread. We have all been here on this thread for many months now, before you decided to join the conversation, so I am sure that those who decided to use the form are very well aware of the alternative path that could "possibly" be taken "if" they get approved instead of denied. Constructive comments go much further than judgment of someone's decision.

With all due respect, the comment made to what I wrote--which having re-read I believe was well-reasoned and not an attack on anyone--was purposeful snark.  Read it again.

Although the evidence at the moment for the K3 speeding up the I-130 is anecdotal due to the small sample size, I still remain hopeful.  I think every form comes with its own risks and I don't imagine many people blindly submit forms without weighing those risks.

That's a generous assumption, and not even one I would necessarily disagree with making, but I don't believe that discussing the potential risk of that strategy, theoretical or not, are outside the line for this forum. Either this forum is for discussing substantive issues about the US immigration process, or it is just an emotional talk therapy/support group.

I would love someone be vindictive on my free speech.  Clearly you didn't read what I wrote. I professionally say they suck. I wrote a f you letter with no name via snail mail. Change happens when there's enough people upset. People on the sidelines don't get change done and are just spectators.

With respect, this does not seem like an effective strategy for going up against an entrenched bureaucracy. I admire your desire for change, but it seems completely ineffectual even if there was no risk in sending it.

I would think knowing there's risks and taking it anyways is courageous. There's two options. You can wait for the process to finish or take a risk and have your loved one sooner. Whatever the consequences k-3 denial I-130 approval. Or k-3 approval, i130 pending, aos fees.

I'll be glad to pay an aos if my wife is with me if that consequence happens. I'll be filing when I return from the Philippines in Sept. Who knows maybe things will be sped up by then.

But the person that doesn't know what they are talking about is really you having some assumptions of great consequences. Let me break out the tinfoil hat. If you think that's risky. Let me tell you about me emailing USCIS employees directly to their work emails telling them they suck in a professional tone.

There's no risk in exercising the options and your freedom of speech. They are public servants and they answer to the public.

I don't think you more than skimmed my comment, because you have ignored its substance. I made no reference to AOS, pro or con. One who does not account for the fact that one is subject to a bureaucratic machinery that doesn't care too much about one's principles or beliefs, or the particulars of one's case, or pay too much heed to a popular morality of "Fairness", is missing the forest for the trees. FYI, one who sends emails packed with emotionally loaded language to the human functionaries that make up the machine is not doing more than urinating into the wind. And that would be a conservative estimate; it would be up to luck that this sort of thing would not irritate the human functionary such that they just put a red flag in the file. This is not a Hollywood movie.

Yeah I read what you wrote. You were acting all tough saying how risky you are by sending FU letters to employees, only later adding it to be "snail mail". Don't give that bullshit dude.

And don't think your free speech is gonna do anything to help your case, but if that makes you happy go ahead.

I do.. it sat on someones desk for 11 months and now it is with someone, however they are performing "additional reviews" which I have been told is basically an excuse to buy more time as several people receive this response during a service inquiry and a case can be in review for months. I just can not sit back and wait/ pray. I need action.

My understanding is it's an average of only 1 hour of actual work on each of these cases that are sitting for nearly a year, or more than in some cases. That is RIDICULOUS!
