Why would you wish negativity on anyone. My anger is placed on USCIS. Everyone who gets Potomac is ahead of us..so that is where my frustration is directed. Not to those who may be desperate. 🙏🏻

I’m not wishing negativity. I’m wishing fairness. That’s all.

The truth is that an approved K-3 requires adjustment of status...in that respect, a CR-1 is vastly superior, imo.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

The chances of K3 approved are 0%, the chances of K3 denied (and CR1/IR1 approved right away) are 100%. It is based on the recent statistics of those few here who were smart enough to do it.

I hope they start giving out the K3 visas and surprise those that are trying to push a fake work around. I don’t want this wait on anyone, it’s a hell of a wait, but it’s making everyone’s wait even longer by pushing these requests just because they want to move to the front of the line.

I respectfully disagree. Those who file K3 are smart, they do not push anyone, they teach the dumb Nebraska. The NSC cannot approve K3 because they have to follow the policy , and the policy states that K3 visa is obsolete and is NOT used nowadays.

Oh yes, it does. Unless you live in a different reality.

I do think this might backfire once the volume of K3 petitions increase significantly. Until then, however...

I have yet to see any real evidence that the strategy works........it is completely illogical.....

Did you submit an I-129F?

What’s most likely gonna happen as soon as volume K3 petitions increases is USCIS will abolish K3, and this window will shut off.

Well, it’s certainly anecdotal, but people’s reports on this forum do seem to indicate I-130s get adjudicated earlier when a K3 petition is also filed.

Edit: In Nebraska, that is.

I did not, but I was very close to do it. In fact, started to fill in the forms. But I got an approval yesterday. I am with Texas though.
