I think the service center decided at the lockbox might be based on the state the petitioner lives in. I could be wrong though.

If I had the time I'd make an excel list of all centers and states of petitioners

Nope. I’m a Texan who got sent to Nebraska.

Today marks 1 year since Nebraska got our application. Happy anniversary to us! How should we celebrate 1 year of frustration as we head into year 2?

Wow.

How odd is that. I guess we don't matter where we are from.

The latest PDs I've seen recent (July 3rd) movement on so far was July 26th :)

Just saw one July 27th case with an RFE being sent yesterday.

(there may be more, but just went with one quick search before work :))

"One day, the plane ticket will be one way."

They are transferring Green Card holder spouse petition i-130 from California service center to Potomac service center..

I think they are doing work load balance only for Permanent resident spouse

it happen to one of my friend and seen several cases in facebook as well..

Status says case transferred and new office has Jurisdiction.

I wish they can give Potomac so much workload just like Nebraska

That's just crazy.  We would think we'll get closest center.

It doesn't work like that. It's not decided after proximity to your location.

I still belive it's decided after the petitioners state of residence.
