As you were mentioning humour.. I just remembered.. okay like small things are meant to be good sign, I notice. 🤪😂

Like yesterday morning I woke up hearing sounds of crickets in home. Then I know crickets are a sign of good luck ☘️

Yes , I agree with you some little things are meant to be good sign for us , and we need that 😊.

and I love to say that a positive mind bring positive things so if we trust in these little sings , it’s a sign of chance 🍀

Christmas is coming with the approval, oh yes! At least for me it will feel like Christmas 🎄 

This is the second time that VJ sends me a weekly estimate email that says, Your approval is past due.

So any day now that I should be ready for Santa🎅🏻 😀🙏

Feb 14 2019: Send I-130(a)
Feb 19 2019: Delivered

Feb 21 2019: Received NOA1 assigned to Nebraska Service Center

Oct 2 2019: Send I-129F

Oct 7th 2019: Delivered

Oct: 11th 2019: Received NOA1

March 30th 2020: I-130 Approved 

April 13th 2020: Case received by the NVC

May 1st 2020: NVC Welcome email received

May 1st 2020: Paid Bills, processed on May 5th 2020

May 15th 2020: First initial submission

May 26th 2020: Final submission

June 1st 2020: DQ NVC

Waiting for interview letter..

Yes mine too, from February 20 down to February 9, hope this trend continues and it doesn’t go back up again 🙏🏻

Our CR1 Journey:

 

USCIS Stage:

  • Feb 14 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • July 31 2019: I129f NOA1
  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

 

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

 

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)
  • September 10 2020: Embassy received passport in mail
  • September 15 2020: Passport with visa in hand

 

October 11 2020: Arrived in US!

Timeline

What truly blows my mind (although probably does not *surprise" me, given these are government bureacracies) is that you can have a service office (like, say, Potomac) that is moving faster and then another (say, Nebrasksa)  that is backlogged, yet they keep sending files to pile up in the backlogged office all the same.  From an organizational and logistical perspective, that seems to make between zero and minus sense.
