Reading between the lines, his exact words were "a decision has been made" so in my semi-warped mind I see that as an actual decision. Either approved or denied, not just whatever future actions need to be taken. But using logic with USCIS doesn't seem to go together at all, so who knows...haha

Oh this is just insanity...We may be losing it by I mean, NSC has LOST it. "It" as in the ability to serve the American people in a respectful and timely manner. This is just ridiculous. My heart breaks for all of us.

Maybe they are trying to slow the requests for case status. We know they are working on July. Also I see they changed all categories to the same date. Wouldn’t be surprised if this changes again. Hmm

Wow! Now Citizen of United States has to wait for this long to be together with their spouse.14.5 months is just one phase. There is another NVC and embassy phase again.. what is this???  This shows that CRAZy Nebreska Service Center are not giving priority to US citizens. I think they are just enjoying our pain and suffering..

I will not be surprise if they keep pushing back timelines.. and make it till 2.5 half year and sleep again..

INSANE...INSANE... INSANE..

Nebreska Service Center should be ashamed of ITSELF..

This long wait just to be together with spouse is totally Unacceptable..

I don’t care now.. I am moving out of this country to be with my husband..

Life is too short to live and I don’t want to waste this two precious year away from my loved ones..

My senator just talked to NSC, the waiting time to be assigned to a caseworker is now 13 months...so tired of this bull!!! Our case was received Aug. 7, 2018.

The saddest part of this for is how every time I'm telling my story to someone I know who has brought over a foreign spouse, they automatically assume I must have filed the paperwork wrong or I'm missing something. They say "it was so quick when I petitioned for *so and so*." Then I explain just how backlogged and broken the system is, waiting a year to even have someone glance at the application.

Now it actually reflects reality. But I don't look at this page anymore, they just put on whatever they want. VJ's data is more reliable.

What is killing me is why do they keep sending applications to Nebraska? Isn't there someone who is overseing all the centers and who would realize that there is a problem and an easy fix would be to stop sending applications to Nebraska for a while?

For our story, look at my profile.
