I had to laugh yesterday, when my husband and I were at the US Embassy in Ankara, applying for our son’s passport.  We’ve been there four times now...for “permission” to marry, for my husband’s 10-year tourist visa, and our son’s Certificate of Birth Abroad and first passport application.  I was thinking, “can we just skip this whole rigamarole and do an interview?  They can see we’ve been married since 2011!”  God, the process is so frustrating!

I doubt anyone reads this, but I found this website to leave feedback/ideas to USCIS. Maybe if many people wrote the same "idea" of how slow Nebraska is someone will read it

What website was this on? USCIS website still says 10-13 months and many here from early-mid July 2018 still haven’t even heard so I'm not sure that I believe that they are at the end of September 2018.. :(

True 🤞🙏 but in Nebraska it feels so unsure for some reason. Because I guess they kept changing those processing times over the time we had applied.

You are probably right, but this waiting is making us so desperately willing to believe. I’m not sure if there is any difference in the processing times between I-130 for spouses and parents. I filed for my mother, PD date Sep.21, 2018.

I know how it is, my I-130 is for my mother too, I’m almost at a year wait and I found that site a while back and wanted to believe it, but it’s just made up figures. Annoying that someone would do that! Nebraska is torture for us all, stay strong!
