It’s no other charge if you File K-3 , if you already have filed an I-130 petition.

Ohhh.. but we didn't know about this. Our time has already passed.. I'm already 330 days today. On June 13th my 11 month. 🤞

But I kinda don't see the logic behind this.. if you do both, it's faster.  Why this nsc just don't do their jobs fairly.. arghhh😐

Yeah but by the time they get to it I would  already be at 12 months so no point in giving them $535 for same timeline 🙄 Lol

Exactly.  We should have been advised earlier.

I mean those who just filed only i130s like us.. are waiting.

I just saw someone got approved this year. Sent it this year, approved this year.  And we are waiting like crazy here.. what's wrong with nsc

Yeah that one is an oddity..have no idea how she got approved so quickly. Very strange indeed. She says no expedite, military, direct file, so it’s very odd considering cases are processed in order received.

Nebreska SC is being going really crazy. I have been watching their speed very closely.

Nebreska went to sleep mode since November 2018, prior to that they used to approve in 180days or less. It took them 3 months (Dec-Feb) to completely approve April month  ; It took 2 months ( March & April) to completely approve May month; again taking 2 month( May & June) to completely approve June month.

That being said its taking them in average of 2 months to approve 1 month of petitions in Nebreska SC.

Its already getting worst ,Not sure where will it head to If this continues... SMH

This is way too much, imagine, my pd is December, Im 6 months in, have to wait another 12 months, considering 2 months to process a month of applications? While others do in 3 months? If it is like this, I believe they will end up sending to other centers because that's wayyyyy to much. Everybody should call their congress folks to annoy NSC then

Many of us have contacted our congresspersons. They get the same scripted response. Government doesn’t care about us. We are just a number 🙄

Another news.. someone with PD of June 19th got yesterday, June 7th.

They are not on forum.

But that's 12 more days and their year would be up 😐

Yes I saw that also. Those numbers right after mine(June 19), they got approved and I’m still waiting...I wonder if sponsoring for spouses faster than for parents...

It's just more proof in my mind that they are doing whatever in the hell they want in Nebraska. Picking and choosing as they like. Who knows, they may be out there playing with our paperwork like it's some crazy card game only they know how to play because they made it up like young kids do playing crazy made up games...haha  Even worse there seems to be nothing we can do because BOTH political parties have made it obvious they don't give a sh*t about any of us trying do this legally. There is ZERO accountability in any of these government agencies really. Doesn't matter which one... We are 333 days since 1st NOA and 18 days shy of a year since we've seen eachother in person and this whole clusterf*^k of a process is taking years off of our lives...🤬🤬🤬

Agreed! But Trump administration is solely responsible when you look at historical data. It was at its lowest of 6 months average before 45 took office. Now we are 10.3 average. It’s on Uscis website for all the world to see!

If all service centers were processing at the same speed. I would be more likely to agree that it's all the Trump Administration's fault. Approval times seem to very greatly from 90-300+ days depending on the service center (with/without expediting I don't know). While there as been an increase in time across the board, USCIS workload balancing and staffing has probably had a bigger affect. Anyways, no matter what the cause is, it is BS that is takes so long so I'll blame both 😁

Or maybe everyone in Nebraska is like yay for trump we can slow down to support him! or they can be like We hate trump let's slow down so he can get some hate.  Who knows. Either way Nebraska is hella mismanaged. 6  months is the target. They were hitting it before. Potomac is still doing it. Texas is a bit out there, but Nebraska is shameful.

Who knows maybe the GAO investigation will put a fire to their processing speed. I am just concerned that nothing that was talked about mentioned I-130 forms. Just all the other post green card forms. Hopefully GAO notices the discrepancies, either way 5 months out till an investigation happens is a downer.

I mean it sucks for those forms being backlogged, but I am sure we all can agree that we want our I-130's approved, and our spouses here, and the rest can take as long as needed as long as the GC is on hand and work can be done.

01/29/2019 - Received by Phoenix Lockbox
02/04/2019 - Receipt Notice Via Text Message assigned to Nebraska Service Center
