Where did you get this information

Expand

I shared an excel file, earlier this week, which contained known i130 cases. I just checked statuses for cases in the file for which the last action date was more than 60 days ago.

My guess is USCIS works on multiple months together. They have to contact other government agencies when processing a file so it makes sense to pick up other cases (possibly from the following month) while they are waiting on a response from these other agencies.

Disclaimer: It's highly likely I didn't get everything USCIS worked on and updated their website for because it's possible I missed some cases.

Congratulations to all who got approved recently.

Question for July approvals...did any one's case hase been transferred to NVC yet? We got approved on July 10th (received paper mail on 13th), never received any emails, both online accounts still shows case received. I called both NVC and USCIS as I had little time this week. USCIS rep told me that she cannot see the case, system is not letting her see it..something..something...as usual, no real answer. I did saw someone with July 8th got their case at NVC. Just wondering if anyone is else is in same boat. Even after waiting 362 days for approval, NSC is taking its sweet time (almost month already) to transfer the case...🙄

What does what this mean.. hmm

OMG! I got approved!!! 🎊🥳🎊 It only took 377 days! I just received the notice per email surprisingly. I thought most people found out through my.uscis page. I hope I was an exception and that you guys don’t have to wait as much as I did. It’s been stressful.

And thanks everybody for your support!

Good riddance, Nebraska! You won’t be missed.

Congrats! We are also in Rio with the same service center. Your post made me super excited because (hopefully) that means that our approval is not too far away! Our priority date is in the beginning of September. Q: You didn't file I129, right? We were going to but gave up because we're so close anyway. Please kindly keep updating the rest of the info as you get them so us Rio filers can get a glimpse of what to expect.

Thanks! Abraços

It can take up to 6-8 weeks for some for the case to be received at NVC, don't worry, it will get there soon I'm sure

Yeah, I know it can take time. But I am seeing that other SC are sending it pretty quick compare to always slow NSC.

That means they are working on entering info in their system and assigning case numbers for cases received on and around July 19th. The date (19th) is NOT the NOA2 approval date.

I was hoping to have the case number by end of August but it seems like it will be mid September by now. And then if they approve all documents in the first go, still wait of 3 months for Mumbai. I was hoping that my wife would be here before the end of the year,,,,doesn't seem like it.

Hopefully, it will change soon...

I love how this thread suddenly became full of Brazilians! I thought there weren't so many of us here before. 🇧🇷👯‍♀️🇧🇷

I do think your approval is not that far. If I'm not mistaken, VJ was predicting mine between July13th and 27th. I was freaking out, but I realized now that they only got it wrong for 11 days, since I was approved on August 7th. I did not file an I129 and I don't think it will be of any help if you file now. You're already too close to your PD.

Keep us informed too! Abraço!

We were approved on the same date (July 10th) but no NVC notification yet.

We'll reach the 30 day mark this weekend and then we can start expecting

Hi Everyone,

I'm filing out the I-129f now for my wife and its asking "Consular Processing Information."

She lives in the UK, she's a Portuguese Citizen, and she is able to travel to the United States on her B1/B2 visa.  Which consular processing would I select?  UK or Portugal?

Whatever you put for I-130; however if the I-130 gets approved and the I-129f gets cancelled like it seems to be doing, it won’t matter all too much, but put whatever you put for I-130

Awesome, much appreciated.

One more question:  I had an attorney file my I-130 so she had submitted a G-28 form.  Do I need her to fill one of these out for the I-129f as well, or is it not relevant since she's not involved in the I-129f filing which I am doing independently.  A bit confused...

I don’t think you need it since as you said you are handling the I-129f case yourself, but I’m not sure. I would assume you don’t though since your lawyer isn’t involved with the I-129f
